It is pretty ugly. I guess there's such a thing as being loyal to a fault. There's no reason Everett, Biggio and Ausmus are on major league rosters. To think that they are on the same major league roster is just scary.
Well, if Everett can get back to about .240, I'd disagree. He's easily the best defensive SS in the NL and probably the majors. When you add in the other nothings in the lineup though, thats where he becomes too much of a liability. But you cant bench him, you've got no one else on the roster thats a legit SS.Biggio should be a platoon player at this point, but he'll continue to play every day till he hits 3000, which cant get here soon enough.Ausmus really is the position that they desperately need to change. He's not all that good defensively and he's certainly not good offensively. If he's calling the games, than I guess he has some value, but with so many other offensive holes he just cant play everyday.Oh yeah, Ensberg sucks too.
