Where is Westbrook (1 Viewer)

Buckhalter #25. I guess they assume Westy isn't playing since he isn't practicing.

I'm not sure where he is in the rankings but he's on my bench after that egg he laid last week and his opponent this week who got embarrassed on the ground last week....

Westbrook didn't practice on Tues and Wed, but what about yesterday and today? Anyone know? Honestly I might be willing to play a healthy CBuck but no way I play Westbrook...

ETA that a couple of sources have confirmed that he hasn't practiced at all this week. Is Reid one of those guys that requires a guy to practice to play?

High-ankle sprains take forever to heal. Westy has said that his intention (for the foreseeable future) will be to rest the ankle as much as possible during the week so he can play on Sundays. I expect him to play, and never be more than 85% for the rest of the year. If I could have traded him, I would have but he should be fairly undervalued going into next year.

He didn't practice today. There are some comments from Reid and Westbrook on the Eagles Website. On sporting news.com and some other sites they are taking Reids comments to mean Westbrook won't play or if he does Buchhalter will get most of the carries..

I read it a little differently... Reid says the Eagles have been practicing in their indoor facility which is artificial turf and he doesn't like to practice Westy on that due to his knee and ankle problems. Say's they'll have Westbrook in the walkthrough then see how he does Sunday morning and "if he can go, he'll play" On Buchhalter, Reid pays some lip service about getting him more involved, he deserves more plays ect, but he phrases it like "buchalter will get a few more carries on Sunday" so I don't really see how he's saying Buchhalter gets starter reps if Westbrook plays...

I really wish they would just rest Westbrook this week, get him ready for Thurs, but I think Reid is stubborn and will ride Westbrook like he always does- 100% or not.

Put it this way I started Mewelde Moore over Westbrook this week and I got lucky. That's how much confidence I have in Westbrook this week.

This makes sense to me. Very tough opponent, Westy already gimpy, another game 4 days later.

Ugh...I'm this close to dropping him as our waiver wire closes for the season on Sunday and pick up Pierre Thomas. I proably should have picked up Thomas sooner but elected to pick up Sammy Morris instead.

I'm thinking that if he plays this weekend, he doesn't on Thursday and vice versa.
