Where to install third security camera? (1 Viewer)

I've got indoor security cams. Two are installed already; one at the front door entrance and one at the back door patio.

I'm trying to decide where to install the third; either in the garage or basement?  Any thoughts or advice?

Maybe its just me but every time the news gets 'footage' from a security cam they always are asking the viewers to phone-in if they can identify the suspects who are usually wearing masks and impossible to get IDs on.

Why doesn't anyone ever place a security camera facing the street where it can read license plates?

Pretty sure you are not going to be monitoring cam footage unless you got broken-in so the job is to identify perps.

I would put the camera is the best spot to read license plate.

I have a fairly long driveway and I have a camera in plain sight pointing straight down it.   Hopefully any intruders get the hint to go somewhere else less risky.   So far so good.

If cameras are mainly being used as a deterrent then place them conspicuously, put up signs, motion lights for outside and timed lights inside, and a big barking dog.

I have indoor cameras from Wyze pointing at all the windows. I also have one in my garage pointing out at the door. I activate the motion sensor when I’m gone and get updates if anything is detected. I also have a pan/tilt camera above the garage pointing at the street and one at my doorway facing my front door.

Whichever is an entrance to the house if the goal is to capture anyone entering the premises.  I also have 2 indoor cameras, one that points at the front door, one at the backdoor, as those are the only "entrances" other than through bedroom windows. And I have a Ring Doorbell camera at the front door, a spotlght cam over the garage (in a position that is easily visible) and one in the backyard.
