Where's your Tatum? (1 Viewer)

With the re-emergence of Kevin Jones, Tatum Bell has been relegated to walking the sidelines and collecting splinters. He's been inactive the past couple weeks. Rotoworld had this blurb about him on the 9th of this month:

Tatum Bell-RB- Lions Nov. 9 - 11:36 am et Houston could reportedly be an offseason landing spot for impending free agent Tatum Bell.Texans coach Gary Kubiak was the coordinator in Denver when Bell played there, and could definitely use speed in his backfield. Houston is expected to consider releasing Ahman Green after his disappointing debut season.Source: Denver Post Related: Ahman Green, Texans
Houston is just one of the spots that Bell could land next year in free agency. I know there are a lot of running backs coming out of college this year, but Houston may be able to get Bell for a discount after his debacle in Detroit. He should also be VERY fresh seeing he will have sat out this whole year. That's less mileage and pounding that he will have taken. With Houston's offense finally taking shape, I think Bell can be very effective in the Texans offense. With Schaub and Johnson stretching the field, Bell would have room make things happen. He's only 26 years old and will only be two years removed from a 1,000 yard season with Denver. Now the question to you sharks, where do you see Tatum Bell's keeper value at? I think he's an intriguing pickup that could pay dividends for a very small price now.

If you have a spot open, why not try the gamble going into next year? Starting RBs are always valuable, even with the skill set of Bell.

This would be true if he were a starting RB. Right now he is a backup without a team. He is in the category of Michael Bennett. I don't think he is worth owning; after failing in Denver and Detroit, who is going to hand him a starting job? He may go somewhere and have a chance to compete, but I don't think he has the talent or the durability to get and hold a starting gig.

M Turner J Jones and a few others are better and will be looking for starting jobs. Bell cant hold down a starting job. If you have room you may get a handfull of starts like always but thats it.

Tatum Bell just isn't good.
Tatum Bell has a lot of talent, thats the frustrating part. He has fumble-itis, is injury prone and doesn't fit Martz's system very well.
 He DOES have talent. He has been injury prone, but as I said before, I think in the right system he can be productive.
I hope so, Houston would be a good place for him. Ron Dayne seems to have found a good spot and they played together in Denver. I've got him in my dynasty league and certainly have not given up hope that he can be an RB2.
