First instinct is to grab Miles and run with him. But there is so much explosive talent in the body of Dez Bryant, who will be their 1A going 2011 and forward?

Would you rather take the almost sure thing in Austin looking for 1200 & 10?

Or

Take the rookie who many are comparing to Randy Moss?

Don't think numbers would differ much in ppr vs nonppr so won't even matter (after this year at least)

Every rookie stud WR seems to be compared to Randy Moss - from Calvin Johnson to Larry Fitz to whoever.

Randy Moss in his prime (and to an extent today) is uncoverable and unstoppable, especially with a good WR on the other side.

My vote is Miles Austin simply because he has a head start over Bryant.

I'm not a huge rookie guy I think for the most part they are always over hyped which is fine but I rather have the guy who has actually done it at a high level.

Tough. Normally, I'd say Austin if you're a contender, Dez if you're rebuilding. But Austin is still very young (turns 26 next month), so he still has at least 5 years of his prime in front of him. I'd probably give the edge to Austin in both cases, simply because he's done it before as others have said. But Dez is very intriguing.

i still like Austin.

Another year in the system. A full training camp and off season as the #1 and multiple weapons to keep him from getting double teamed. His numbers may not be as ridiculous as last year but I fully expect him to be a consistent contributor and he is always good for a 60 yard TD here and there.

Being a Cowboys homer, I am as excited as the next guy about Dez but he hasnt stepped foot on the field yet and in my opinion, that means he is still nothing more than a hot prospect.

I'll go against the grain slightly and say Dez simply because he possesses many of the same qualities as Austin but has greater (in my opinion) raw talent. I think both are great options going forward (love the Fitz/Boldin comparison Bloom) but I'd rather have the Fitz in that pair and that is going to be Dez!

How can anyone even say Dez over Miles .We all seen Miles prove he can play in this league Dez is still in diapers And so many rookies fail. So I say MA.

B/C people like shiny new toys. They also usually leave dynasty leagues after 2 or 3 years when they can hardly field a starting lineup.Austin is the correct play here.

Well the question is "Which DALLAS reciever has most dynasty potential?".

I think purely on potential, Dez has Austin covered IMO. However, when it comes to who is most likely to live up to their potential or even come close, its Austin comfortably.

Austin would be the way to go depending on price.

It's understandable what you're saying but following that logic, no rookie should ever be forecasted to surpass any veteran. It's not much of a challenge to pick your horse after he's pulled ahead.

This guy gets it.
Yes and no. I am under the assumption we are talking startup dynasty. Rookies get drafted after the studs and in rookie drafts.

Not many rookie receivers make a huge impact, because there is a learning curve involved in the transition from the NCAA to the NFL.

the simple go routes dont work anymore at a high rate, just ask DHB,etc, etc, etc.

That being said, I do think Dez Bryants overall skill set translates to the NFL level very well.

Its just hard to tell, but I think I would rather take the receiver that has already proven he can play at an elite level in Austin Miles.
