Which do you think FBGs ranked higher? (1 Viewer)

OK, I am starting Henderson over A. Johnson so not asking who to start, but I find it funny that they say the following about each player, but yet Johnson is ranked 12th and Henderson is 36th?!

<b>A. Johnson<b>

Opinion (Clayton and David say downgrade him): Johnson has been very good this season, but he faces a tough stretch of games to end the year. New England and Cleveland have been pretty good against opposing WRs while the Colts (Houston’s week 16 opponent) have been very stingy. Of course their stinginess is due in large part to their inability to stop the run, but the fact is that WRs haven’t scored many fantasy points against the Colts this season.

at New England Patriots (Tough matchup) - David Carr did a little better last week (17/23 for 140 yards, 0 TDs and 0 interceptions) than he did the week before that (7/14 for 32 yards, 0 TDs and 0 interceptions), but 140 yards passing isn't going to win many fantasy titles. Given that Carr has thrown exactly 1 TD over the past 7 weeks, with only one game over 300 yards passing, it's fair to say that the Texans' passing attack is in the doldrums. Andre Johnson has compiled 18/175/1 over the past 3 weeks to rank 32nd among all fantasy WRs during that span of time, but other than Johnson there are no players on this passing attack that warrant a look for your lineup. He sees enough of what few passes Carr throws to stay a viable #3 WR, but that's about it heading into the final weeks of the season.

The Patriots allowed 18/30 for 190 yards, 1 TD and 0 interceptions to Joey Harrington last week, and have averaged 213 passing yards allowed per game over the past 3 contests. They do have 7 sacks and 6 interceptions during that span - the Patriots are still doing some things right, but last week they had an off week against their division rivals.

The Texans' offense is soft in this phase of the game, while the Patriots are aiming for the post-season and will have home-field advantage behind their group of defenders. New England is good enough to make big trouble for Carr and company this week.

<b>Henderson</b>

Opinion (from Bob Henry's sleeper report): At this point, do you really need much of a case statistically to talk yourself into rolling the dice on a starting WR in the Saints offense? I didn’t think so. Joe Horn may be on the shelf for a while keeping the door wide open for the speedy Devery Henderson to remain a highly productive big-play fantasy WR. The Redskins are a worthy opponent, too. Washington is the 8th best matchup for WRs allowing 10.5 receptions, 141.1 yards and 1.3 TDs per game. They’ve allowed the most TD receptions to opposing WRs in the league (tied with Green Bay). Providing Henderson is in the starting lineup, and it looks like that will be the case, Henderson is most worthy of a spot in your lineup.

Opinion (Clayton and David say upgrade him): We like Henderson in the next couple of weeks based in large part on the belief that Joe Horn’s groin will keep him on the sidelines. If Henderson gets the starting nod, he should excel against the Redskins and Giants. Even if Henderson is stuck in the WR3 spot, Drew Brees has the ability to get him involved.

I learned a hard lesson last week in my main league, to trust my instinct instead, no matter how big of a gap FBGs has one ranked over the other.
