Which draft spot do i choose? (1 Viewer)

i have 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 to choose from.

I was all set to take the 5th spot, but with portis injured, i am thinking i want nothing to do with that decision. So i am thinking 7.

Also to note. at spot 1 and 4 are "guppies". I was tempted to take spot 5(this is the person at 4's first year). Any thoughts?

Its a 12 team league. standard scoring. 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1k, 1 def.

Thanks.

Do you know what division you're in? If it's 1,4,7...2,5,8, etc. then hell yeah, take #7.

Otherwise, I like #10. Still get a good RB, and pick of the litter on the way back. I also love being close to the turn, but not on it, as you can more easily predict what those four spots (between your picks) need. That allows you to bypass say a RB you want, knowing the next guys NEED WR's, and so on. Love that.

Yeah, I'd go 9 or 10.

Take 5, take Portis.

If your league is not that great you might get Barber.

You can get a top level WR probably in the 2nd and you'll pick sooner in the 3rd than the others.

I guess the second part of my question is.... is portis still considered in that 2nd tier or does he fall to that third tier?

I would hate to have to take lamont or rudi at the 5 spot.

Depends who talk to, read the Portis threads. IMO, this issue could linger, and at the very least, there is now risk where you might not have to take it. I have downgraded him. So for me, that is why I'll gladly move down in the draft. And again, if you know who is in what division, you might want to base your decision there first...
