Both are available in my league. Taveras put up a bunch of SB last year but Figgins seams to do better in more categories. Plus Figgins is listed at 2B and 3B While Taveras at OF has more competition.
Generally, I agree with the above. But of course, nothing happens in a vacuum.
It would depend on who you could have as your 3rd base complement to Tavares, as well as who you could get as your OF complement to Figgins.
I would think this would make Figgins an even bigger favorite in most cases, given the depth of replacement talent usually available at OF, but you never know.

Hard to believe that either of these guys are available. It's almost impossible believe how Figgins is available. With that said, I agree with the others that the better option is Figgins and it isn't close.
You'd have to be pretty desperate for steals for this to even be close. I think Tavares gets him steals pretty easily, and I still say Figgins is the better pickup here.
