Here's our format; td's = 6pt, passing = 1pt/25yds, rushing/receiving = 1pt/10yds, ppr=1pt, Additional Points for each Game:
Every 250 yards Passing is an additional 2 pts, 300 yards 3 pts, 350 yards is 5 pts.
Every 70 yards Rushing is an additional 2 pts, 110 yards is 3 pts, 155 yards is 5 pts.
Every 70 yards Receiving is an additional 2pts, 110 yards is 3 pts, 155 yards is 5 pts.

I give up Brandin Cooks & Sterling Shepard for Nelson Agholor & Javorius Allen

I'm leaning towards #1 as I have Brees for my starting qb and i'm light at wr. I think dez is going to be a more reliable points scorer than Cooks.

although #2 does give me a startable rb that I could possibly trade for a wr.

I really don't like either one too much. In #1 with Brees the back up QB really doesn't matter since you only should need them for the bye and neither Smith nor Dak have a great matchup during the bye. I am still a Cooks believer but I could see how one could prefer Dez so if you do it you are only doing it for Dez. In #2 you run the risk that Collins may go off in Baltimore and either replace Allen or make it a 3 headed monster and that gets even more compounded when Woodhead gets back. I'd wait at least for Cooks to have a great game and then his stock will rise for better players.

I agree with Beer Buff, if this trade is just for Dez and you really want him then fine, but the play here is to at least have Cooks go off big when the Patriots feature him due to their plan and you can net a better WR than Dez. Dez is solid safe floor WR. You could get Jordy, Evans, A.J, desperate ODB even, if you hold. I see that as being a good enough reason to make the trade.

I would lean to #1 in your deal as well. I don't trust Cooks and think he can only become reliable with even more injuries in New England. He isn't the clear cut #1 option and that would make me nervous, where I think Witten's usage eventually dips but Dez's will at least remain static if not increase.
