Which 'List' would you put celebrities on? (1 Viewer)

You're a bouncer for a famous socialite in LA who's having a party.  There's no invite list for the party, but you know you can only let 300 people through the door.  Therefore, you need to somehow prioritize who gets in.  When someone arrives, you must quickly determine whether they're an A, B, C, D, or F-list celebrity.  Since you want this party to be as A-list as possible any person you determine to be A-list automatically gets in.  Meanwhile, you'll only accept 75% of the B-listers, 50% of the C-listers, 25% of the D-listers, and no F-listers. 

Let's say there's a local PGA Tour event and some players from the pro golf world are expected to come to the party.    You don't want a bunch of golf hacks at the party, so you need to prioritize them accordingly.  Here is how I'd rank them:

A-list:  Tiger Woods

B-list:  Doesn't exist

C-list:  Doesn't exist

D-list:  Jack Nicklaus, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson

F-list:  Pretty much everyone else.

I agree with you that Tiger would be good at just a party that was just about any where else, except at a golf course at a PGA event. Who would you want to see, Tiger or Jack? I'd say Jack. My age may be affecting this some.

huh.  Jack was a celebrity, but Tiger was a completely different animal, both on and off the course.  Just look at golf tourneys in the 90's/early 2000's.  Nobody has ever matched the excitement that Tiger brought in golf.  It's not close.

I read it as "people you'd want to meet at an event for not just golf-hacks at a PGA golf tourney" and then said Jack. If it was average Joes, I'd say it was Tiger.

Again, I have been a lover of PGA golf since the late 70s, so Jack is more in my range of heroes.

Not to pile on, but this is a disaster.  Chris Rock is an A-list celebrity and regarded as one of the best comedians of all time.  

Joe Rogan is nowhere near an A list celebrity and definitely not one of the best comedians out there.

I'd put Dracula and Frankenstein on the A list by themselves. 

I also think you have to put Freddy Krueger, Jason, and Michael Myers on the same list.  Whether that's B or C is debatable.

B - Tom Selleck.  Used to be A list, but his fame has faded slightly.  

C - can't think of any.

D - Mr T.  He's a throwback character that would be fun to have at the party although you wouldn't want a ton of these types.

F - Todd Bridges.  He's still alive, right?
