Which NFL RB tandem would you rather have? (2 Viewers)

Having quality depth at RB is important in FF. Its great to have a replacement for your injured starter or to have a bye week replacement, but as the bye weks start to pass (yes, I'm thinking ahead) I was thinking that I'd rather have two RBs from the same team (if they are in a good situation) than a marginal starter that sits on my bench after the byes. For example, during the bye week stretch, I'd generally rather have Barlow than DeAngelo Williams. But after all the byes I'd rather have insurance for Foster incase he goes down since I know Williams as a starter is more valuable than Barlow. That said, which RB tandem would you rather have after the bye weeks? Why? Is it talent? Schedule? Situation?

Some of the better combos:

T. Jones/Benson

Rhodes/Addai

Dunn/Norwood

Taylor/Jones-Drew

Foster/D. Williams

Dillon/Maroney

I like all of the situations but if I have to choose one, surprisingly I like the Jones/Benson combo the best. Why? 1. Schedule and 2. Less chance of RBBC. The other tandems will split time and its hard to say whch will have more points from game to game (unless injury). In Chicago, Benson will get his carries, but will not take away as many touches as the other backups. But then if something happens to TJ, then you still have a qality back in a good situation.

Which of these would you rather have going forword? Any other combo I didn't mention? Thoughts?

Dillon/Maroney (And Hope Dillon does not Play)

Rhodes/Addai (And Hope Rhodes does not Play)

Dunn/Norwood (either would be fine)

Foster/D. Williams (D. Williams probably the better of the 2)

T. Jones/Benson (Benso Sux)

Taylor/Jones-Drew (either is a bad option)

You might want to add Portis/Betts to that list. They'll certainly be feeding Portis from here on out but Betts seems good for 30-60 total yards per game and an occasional TD for the rest of the season.

Thats part of the equation wouldn't you think? I'd prefer not to hope for anything in the stretch run.

I have enjoyed New England's running game so far this year. Dilllon has been a good pounder and Maroney has been a very entertaining tallent. He is fast and yet loves contact.

Atlanta's running game is quite a monster as well - but to mention this 'tandem' and not mention Vick is unfair to the ground game. Vick can gobble up much of the opportunity from rushing yards. Now I have only seen Norwood on highlight clips, so let me ask you this ... is this kid as fast, all game as he is in highlights?

Yes, he's that fast. They were raving about Norwood during OTA's but they said wait till he puts on some pads... Then he started burning in training camp, then in preseason, and now he's doing it in the regular season.

Dunn/Norwood. Easily. It's not easy to have a rusher with a 133 yard average for the first two games, and then two games later, with no injuries or even poor performances, have a different person with 100+ yards. Vick is a huge part of their success, opting for a third ground threat, but Norwood is, in my opinion the best RB from the 2006 draft, set aside the jackass that returned a punt for a TD today.
