was at the Chiefs @ Rams game a couple years back when they broke (tied?) the single game scoring record at the LA Coliseum. repeat at the Superbowl? Again in LA? yes please.

As long as the 49ers are in, I'm happy.Ā

either narrative is fun for me - 3rd super bowl against the Bengals or a revenge matchup with the Chiefs.Ā

Went with Cincy/San Fran. Cincy because I’ve resided in Ohio for the past two decades and am tired of only hearing about the Browns around here. More Bengals talk would be most welcomed and they have an exciting young offensive core with Burrow/Chase/Higgins.Ā

Went with KC and LA, I think that would be the most entertaining game.Ā Ā

But KC vs SF would be very interesting as that would be a revenge matchup.

As a Lions fan I’m rooting for Stafford and would love to see them beat KC, so that’s how I voted.

Want Stafford to beat Murray, Brady, and Mahomes on his Superbowl run.

Was actually a bit annoyed/disappointed Rodgers lost.Ā Ā

Not sure why anyone would root for kc over cincinnati without a betting interest or being a kc fan. The Bengals are a win away from going to the superbowl. The Bengals.Ā

Would love to see Jimmy g win a superbowl just for the trey Lance awkwardness and i don't like the rams but Stafford is a feel good story.Ā

Either way is a revenge scenario if the Niners make it.Ā

KC/SF feels like unfinished business for fans. We was robbed just a couple years ago. The game was won. 3rd & 27 with the lead. One more stop, KC punts, & the Niners make it a 2-score game with a FG leaving not very much time on the clock.Ā

So for Niners fans, KC is a very appealing SB opponent. For Niners fans and probably no one else.Ā

Cinci would be a revenge game for the Bengals, who famously lost 2 super bowls to the 49ers in the dynasty era. And for me personally, a very nostalgic matchup, since those were the teams of my youth. I would love a Cincinatti/Niners game.Ā

So as long as the Niners make it, I'm happy. And I love me some Stafford. I've rooted for the dude for years - he seems like a truly great guy, and I wish him well. But since he's in the way of my Niners, I can't root for him this weekend.

Should my Niners lose, I'm rooting for the Rams to win it all for that reason, even if it feels a little dirty.Ā

Thinking about this for a bit, I really don’t care. Each of these teams has a reason or two for me to cheer for it.Ā
KC - lived in Kansas for 6 years, graduated from KU, and they’re a fun team. OTOH, been there done that.Ā
Cincy - new blood, they’re an exciting young team and their loyal fans ā€œdeserveā€ it. OTOH, Ohio sucks.Ā
LA - Stafford. OTOH, it’s LA and I’m not fully on board with cheering for a team from Cali. Ā also, LA was my choice to win the NFC so there’s some satisfaction in guessing correctly. (3/4 in the conference championships ain’t bad, too bad the one I was wrong about was the titans)
SF - see above. OTOH, it’s mildly interesting to see what happens with Jimmy if they make it to the SB.Ā

Still hard to believe that the 49ers and Bengals are in their conference championship games and could actually be the superbowl participants and that one of them might actually win it.Ā  They picked 3rd and 5th this year... yeah the 49ers traded up for it but they're not even using the guy they spent three firsts to pick.Ā Ā
