Just gaging what you would be willing to give up to get Pujols in a 10 team Dynasty league.

I get:

Pujols

I give:

Howard

and

Johan, Lackey, Hamels, Haren, Lincecum, or Billingsley

Which Starting pitcher would be the absolute most you would give to switch these two 1st basemen? Obviously I have pitching to spare.

You are giving up too much to get Pujols if you add any of those pitchers imo.

I'm with this guy, but if you really really really really have to get Pujols and this is the only way it would get done I'd give up Lackey and pray that he's not fully over his injury.Again, I'd rather have Howard and that pitching staff than Pujols and one less pitcher.Edit to add: just remember, you've eaten a lot of bad AB's of Howards already...don't let him catch fire on another roster.

i would consider throwing in billingsley. the difference b/w howard and pujols may not be that great this year (b/c of pujols' possible surgery), but, for dynasty purposes, the difference is great, imo. pujols is, arguably, the best dynasty option out there. he's been at least one of the best 2-3 pure hitters in baseball for the past 5 years and is really just entering his physical prime. ryan howard doesn't excite me for dynasty purposes. i don't have a good reason to think. with his weight, i just don't see him aging well.

with a great cast of dynasty pitching options, i'd be probably be willing to part with billingsley to likely have the games best 1B for the next 6-7+ years.

a year from now, a howard-billingsley price tag will seem cheap.

i would not consider any of your other pitchers.
