Brady is a great QB no doubt. but he is still a system QB. Matt Cassell showed that when he flourished while Brady was out. you want to see what a great QB means, look at the Colts. while Brady was out the team won 10 games, with Manning out this team will be lucky to win 2. some QB's are great, and some QB's are more than just great.

Part of your argument for Brady being most impressive is the fact he's set a NFL passing record. I will concede that is impressive.However, if someone had predicted Brady to break a record before the season started would have been bold but not THAT much of a limb to stand on. Predicting Cam Newton to set rookie records would have been met with pages of mockery. Cam Newton has been rather impressive - not just because he's set records but because NOBODY saw it coming.

I am pretty sure anyone and everyone acknowledged how awesome he was that year, not just for throwing 50 TDs, but for throwing very few picks. But it is hard to play the "Brady don't get no respect" card without making up some crap up to make it look like Brady's accomplishments were demeaned. It is what bostonfred does. I thought this thread was most impressive through three weeks? Sure Brady is a great QB, so are Rogers, Brees and Rivers. But we're talking the first 3 weeks this season. I am pretty sure anyone and everyone acknowledged how awesome he was that year, not just for throwing 50 TDs, but for throwing very few picks. But it is hard to play the "Brady don't get no respect" card without making up some crap up to make it look like Brady's accomplishments were demeaned. It is what bostonfred does. Many of us fully acknowledge that Brady is one of the best QBs ever - hell, I have said for YEARS that he is better than Peyton Manning - but some Brady fans take anything less than "Brady is the greatest ever" talk as disrespect.

Yes Brady has lost a game, he is 2-1...they are in major trouble, so I understand the reason to hate on brady. ...but were any of those passes tipped?
