AL Central Standings as of August 7, 2012.
CENTRAL
Chicago - 60-49 - .550 - 0GB
Detroit - 60-50 - .545 - .5GB
Cleveland - 50-60 - .455 - 10.5GB
Minnesota - 49-61 - .445 - 11.5GB
Kansas City - 46-63 - .422 - 14GB
Looks like my prediction that it would turn into a two team race was right. Chicago and Detroit look to battle it out to the very end.
