They're pretty close but I think realistically you could do better than Hightower as a RB2 in the 4th which would make me like B more.

Substitute Shonn Green for Blount in team A and you have my team in a 12 team league. So I like A better.

Give me team B. Not sold on Ingram, and team B is at the turn.
I'm not sure how Mark Ingram is relevant to this post but both teams are drafting on a turn and I am guessing the one with Adrian Peterson (B) picked #1 overall.FWIW I like team A.

The OP switched out Mark Ingram from Team A and inserted Felix Jones after the first few people responded. Again, realistically, I think you can do better than Hightower in a 10-team league at 4.01 - IMO that pick alone makes Team A more appealing because if you ignore both 4th round picks, the VBD upgrade from Blount to AP is much higher (like 80+ points using FBG projections) than from Wallace/Jennings to Johnson/Fitz (like 30-40 points using FBG projections) in most scoring systems, making Team B better. When you start comparing Hightower - who's like a RB2-3 as of draft time - to Ingram/Felix it gets murkier.

I am so confused. Could have sworn team A was Blount and Ingram. Oh well.

Point being that if you draft #1, yeah you get AP. However its a long wait till your 2nd and 3rd round picks and in a 3 WR league, you could be looking at trouble.

fyi i did switch out Felix with Ingram. I think i can get felix at 3.10 or 4.1.

Team A - I like Fitzgerald & Calvin both over Jennings/Wallace individually & as a pair. Obviously like AD over Blount/Felix individually but as a pair I like Blount/Felix more then AD/THT. What other choices were there at RB when he took THT?

I just threw out hightower as a hypothetical at the 4.10 spot. Probably a bit better of an option.

This has not taken place. However, i did just trade out of the #1 spot with the guy who drafted #10. I like that spot better for all the reasons above. Also looked back at a little league history and team drafting out of #1 spot has won league only once in like 10 years.

Theres something to be said for have 2 players in the top 11 if you draft 10th in a 10 teamer.

In reality, the guy who picked 1 is due up for another pick right now too, so replace Hightower with Best or D. Williams, and throw in Gates or Witten or Finley at the 5.01 spot and that team is rocking.

B

The difference between ADP and Blount is massive.

The Wallace/Jennings combo outscored the Fitz/Calvin combo last year. What's changing this year, other than the old competition for catches for Wallace and Jennings getting older?

Obviously, I'd rather have Fitz and Calvin, but they certainly aren't worth an ADP to Blount downgrade more. We're talking about 2 of the 5 best deep threats in the league and the absolute primary targets for 2 of the 5 best QBs in the league. Fitz/Calvin have more talent, but Wallace/Jennings have plenty of talent and are both in far better situations that either Fitz or Calvin.

I like the front slots this year and like team B better. Jennings and Wallace are superb and Peterson is a rock...add in an upside guy with Hightower, plus you get to take the next pick and team B is in a better spot. I think THT will finish as an RB2 at least and Wallace will be a top 10 WR with Jennings top 15.

I love Calvin and Fitz, of course, but I'm not sold on Felix or Blount this year. Plus you don't get to pick for another 10 spots? Team B, please.

The difference between Felix Jones and Tim Hightower is also pretty massive. I don't see how B is by far the better team here.

You're eyes weren't lying, apparently it was Ingram.

You're right. I got carried away. I'd prefer B, but it is quite close.

I encourage everyone who loves Jennings to take a look at his stats before Finley and driver got hurt. They were pedestrian. He exploded after both went down and he was only solid target.
