Which teams have sweet FF playoff schedules? (1 Viewer)

We all gear up to be strong for weeks 14 to 16. Many trumpet this as a key factor in player selection. Yet there is a ton of turnover in the modern NFL each year in terms of the caliber (and more importantly team defense) each year. Hard to really project with confidence in pre-season.

I like Oak, STL, SEA and KC playoff schedules (at least for weeks 15 and 16).

What do others think?

I think it's more about which players will have good matchups, not the teams as a whole.

I think you should draft to get into the playoffs first and worry about who faces who in week 15-16 after you are in.

Predicting which defenses are going to be good/bad is tough enough for week 1 let alone week 15-16.

That being said I would say that Buffalo, Hou, Jax, NE, NYG, NYJ, Sea and Was all could have good passing matchups in week 15-16.

Den, Ind, Mia, StL & Was could have good rushing matchups in week 15-16.

Did a search for playoff schedules and found that this one never really took off.

As "Sharks", we have a pretty good shot of making the playoffs. I'm not sure about your league's, but I don't win money for MAKING the playoffs. I get paid for winning them. This is why week 14, 15 and 16 matchups are so important.

For players that I am on the fence with, I plan on using their playoff schedula as a deciding factor. I agree C Taylor has a good looking schedule. FWP gets CLE week 14, but plays Car and BAL 15 and 16.

If Tiki can make it past CAR and PHI, he gets NO in the FF Super Bowl.

Whose playoff schedule do you like(RB, WR, QB)?

In my opinion, Ronnie Brown may be the MVP for playoff weeks 15 and 16. He should be able to run wild against the Bills and the Jets..

WR wise, I think Arizona's Boldin and Fitzgerald should be able to post some sick numbers weeks 12-17... These two could be MVP's for WR's during playoff time.

I agree with targeting the playoffs EXPECTING to make them. I'll take the chance of missing the playoffs slightly more often to have a better chance of actually winning them. If I'm in a redraft, and I'm on equal footing with everyone else to start the season, I should be good enough to make the playoffs. Two caveats:If less than 1/3 of the teams make the playoffs in a given league, perhaps the emphasis is not as great. In saying "target the playoffs" I'm not including vaulting Ronnie Brown above LT. Small adjustments only.

This is a given. However, when I am faced with a decision between two or more players in the same tier, I will always choose the one with the easiest playoff fantasy schedule. Everyone should get used to doing the same.

Don't count those eggs just yet....I expect the Bills to have one of the most improved defenses this year.
In general, year-to-year changes due to injury, improvement, etc. are one reason not to get too engrossed in playoff schedule. That's why I said "small" adjustment. Trying to peak at playoff time is best done at or after the midpoint of the FF regular season when you have a better idea of the true nature of each team and their defense and you also will know if you are in a fight just to make the playoffs or already in good shape.

Denver has a great schedule FF wise all year long if you ask me and then weeks 14-16 they get SD Ariz and Cinci..so thats the team i like best schedule wise this year.
