Both are fantastic WRs. Both have egos. Both have been known to be somewhat disruptive at times. Who's it gonna be first? Or do they make it the entire year without any issues and play nice.

I vote neither. Maybe a homer vote but this was a move that both TO & Ocho wanted as well as quite a few other players from what I've heard around here. All of Chad's interviews so far have been him talking about TO being the #1 receiver now bc of his records and accomplishments on the field. I don't see the problem coming from either as far as one doing better or getting the throws. They know one of them is going to be double covered leaving the other open. I think that if there is going to be a problem, it is going to come from frustration if the Bengals self implode. I'm heading to training camp for the weekend and can't wait to see how Palmer looks throwing to these two.

Given that Owens has an incentive-laden contract, the minute he has a 3-32-0 game and the Bengals lose, the fun will begin. :lmao: Owens is the easy pick.

Voting for Ocho.

I've made my opinion on him known. In the near future, Ocho might be diagnosed with a special type of mental illness that is not yet recognized. But for now, be aware that the baneful nature of his perversions is not just a rumor. It is a fact that we've all witnessed. He used to maintain that doing the fashionable thing is more important than playing the game. When he realized that no one was falling for that claptrap, he changed his tune to say that his paroxysms are part of the game but he still marches on. Ocho is undeniably a wanton liar, and shame on anyone who believes or admires him.

That must be one bitter little existence you struggle to survive.

Ocho is all about laughter, joy and playing around with how great he is. And as a top dozen WR when he has a healthy QB for many years, he backs it up. he may be deranged, but its a jovial and harmless derangement. TO is notably negative about his team, his coaches and his teammates - anything that he doesn't se as all about him. Nothing he does involves much laughter or joy. I hope Ocho brings more 'controversy' to the league again this year. TO, not so much.

Are we talking about a legitimate controversy or are we talking about a media fabricated controversy? That will affect my vote.

That's interesting. If he has a 3-32 game but his team wins, he seems to hold his tongue pretty good. If they lose, then all hell breaks lose.

Bengals management was very dumb in making TO's incentives be based on stats. They should have given him incentives based on the team's record and playoff success.

Antonio Bryant is the guy I would be most worried about.
I was wondering how he was handling all of this and was a bit worried about him too but here is an article from today about his knee, the Bengals signing TO and him giving up his #. I was impressed by his response. From the article:

“There’s a lot of speculation. From my perspective, I’m a team player. It’s all about having the best team,” Bryant said. “If I owned the team, I would definitely go after the best players if possible. Especially in the situation they acquired him. I definitely would have gone after the guy. I’ve got a lot of respect for him as a player. When you look at the Cincinnati Bengals and the division and look at the secondaries on every team, you can sit there and fantasize and mix and match everything.”

This is what Bryant says he told T.O.:

"I’m a realist. I’m not going to make a big spectacle out of it,” Bryant said. "You’ve got a bigger legacy and number than I do. I’m a guy. I come to play football. I’ve been on several teams like you have but changed my number several times and you haven’t. I don’t need your money. At the end of the day all I want you to do is take care of one of my little league programs in Miami. I’ll give you the information. Send them a small donation and we’ll go from there.”

He was asked his new number.

“I really don’t care,” Bryant said. “You know my name, right?”

From this artcile it sounds like he is worried about getting healthy and playing football at the end of the day. If all 3 of them can do that and add a healthy Palmer in the mix, they could be dangerous on the field.

I think he realizes this is the best way to act to collect as much of the 28 million as he can get.

Exactly. I don't expect either of them will do anything like get arrested for drunk driving, be charged for sexual assault or murder, or anything truly serious. What might happen? TO might get frustrated if the team loses and he isn't getting enough looks and he might say something to the media. Or, Ochocinco might do some funny touchdown dance. I am hoping that they do some celebratory antics together. Something like.. if they play the Cowboys show up to the game wearing cowboys hats and then doing a Mexican hat dance with them on the Star. That would be pretty cool. Or maybe Ocho could have a Mexican hat and TO a cowboy hat. If you don't like Ochocinco you have no personality.

Or feel threatened by people who do . . . .

I figure one of them will score a TD and both of them will together do some wacky, preplanned TD celebration and the commish will dish out a fine like we have never seen before.

Then both of them will whine & cry and so I am voting both (not an option in your poll)
