It's been a while, WHIR as always!

12 team redraft league, 0.5ppr, 4 pt pass td, otherwise std scoring. start qb, 2rb, 2wr, flex, te

Auction draft: $200 budget for 15 roster spots

Can only keep a player this season, so long term doesnt matter

Pick 1

(my guesstimate 2017 auction value based on my leagues drafting history is included in red):

Cousins - $2 ($8-12)

Evans - $40 ($55-65 elite WR's typically go low to mid $60's each year)

Julio - $64 ($64-70)

Crabtree $7 ($15-22)

Tevin Coleman $1 ($10)

James White or Dion Lewis both $1 (not sure on auction value)

I'm leaning towards locking in evans at a slight discount, thoughts??

Yea I like Evans for $40. Crabtree isn't a bad keep either but it's easier to build your team knowing you have wr1 locked down before it even starts.

I'd lean toward Crabtree. A solid WR2 for $7 is an amazing value.

I actually don't think $40 for Evans is much of a value, he's going to see a lot fewer balls this year, and that even started to play out down the stretch last year.

If elite WR's tend to go for $60 in your league, I think the best play is to sort of punt WR a bit. Especially since you only start 2. Look for cheaper value guys there(like Crabtree) and spend big elsewhere.

This is where I would be debating myself.  I agree that Evans may see fewer targets but he is still a stud and doesn't need a ton of targets to be elite.  Crabtree is a very safe, high floor WR2 that will allow you to take a couple more chances in the draft at WR upside (Watkins for example) if the value presents itself.  I think I lean towards Crabtree to give you more flexibility in the auction.  His price just opens up more possibilities as you are constructing your team.

Evans or Crabtree are the best options for sure.

I would probably go Evans though. Seems to be the biggest discount
