Who are you benching this week? (1 Viewer)

I'm considering starting Brandon Jackson vs. the Bills over Mendy & Bradshaw. I'm still waivering though, plus I have him on the block and want the league to see what his projections are for this week. :D

debating putting McCoy in over Gore

I don't know if I have the cojones to do it though....Bloom has him as the #3 RB overall this week so he is saying to put him in over everyone but AP and Turner.......

Considered benching Chris Johnson forBradshaw vs INDD. Williams vs TB
Johnson has not had under 100yds rushing since week 5 of last year. When he gets 20+ carries, he has only failed to break 100yds 2 times out of 12. I don't care if PIT hasn't allowed a 100 yd rusher since the days of Jesus, I'll put my money on the Light Blue Jesus.

Really considering starting BMW over S. Smith North this weekend. Prolly switch back because of Nicks ankle though...

Benching the 2nd all time TD reception leader (Randy Moss) for the 3rd all time TD reception leader (Terrell Owens).

You guys scared me with all this Revis Island crap.

No offense, but how is this going against the grain? Every fantasy site I can see has Mike Vick ranked ahead of Brady this week and some very signficantly. You have Tom Brady going up against the Jets and Mike Vick against the Lions. I'm sorry to say but if you were to go with Tom Brady over Mike Vick, that is going against the grain because just about EVERYBODY has Vick over Brady and Vick over a lot of QB's this week because of who he is playing and how he looked at the end of the GB game.

That's a tough one, but McCoy should be solid. Forte stinks and he lit up Detroit in the receiving part of the game, McCoy should post solid numbers, it's hard not to imagine him having a "good game" agains the Detroit Lions.Gore should bounce back but to what degree. Again a tough call but I have a rule and that's I don't bench my starters when they face the Detroit Lions D and it works out more than not. If Gore does out produce McCoy, it shoudln't be by much. If Gore and SF stink as bad as they did last week, it could cost you a close loss with the point differential that McCoy may put up.

sounds weird but that is going with the grain.I'm benching Vince Young and Jason Campbell for Vick. not exactly earth shattering. Vick's a good start this week.I am benching DeSean Jackson for Roddy White and Hakeem Nicks, and going with Brandon Jackson over Felix Jones.

Santana Moss or Pierre Garcon over Randy Moss.

Revis, Moss complaining, @ New Meadowlands Stadium...just not getting a good vibe playing Stud Randy Moss this week. :bag:

No way Vick outscores Brady this week. "Everybody" might have Vick ranked higher this week, but there's no way the majority of Brady/Vick owners are actually going to start Vick instead.

I have Santana in over Randy also. Debating McFadden v. STL over Mendenhall @Ten.
I just grabbed Tenn DST (dropped MIA), thinking Tenn will stack box against Mendy and force Dixon to throw (plus 1st home game for Tenn)......IMO I'd go McFadden (M. Bush will be limited or not play at all).

I'll probably catch hell for it, but I'm starting him over Brady vs Jets this week. If week 2 were played out 1000 times I feel confident this would prove to be the correct choice. This week, Vicks over/under is probably around 1.5 passing TDs and Brady maybe around 2.0. I think the rushing ability of Vick is the difference.

:lmao: Well the majority of Brady/Vick owners had better start Vick. You do realize Jay Cutler outscored Brady last week? Vick will have 100+ rushing this week easy.

Talk about crazy media hype. Vick hasn't started a game sine before he went to prison, and you think he's going to outscore Brady? He won't come close to 100 yards rushing, and he doesn't have the weapons and isn't accurate enough to out pass Brady.Everyone is all over Vick's jock because he came in last week against a team that game planned all week for Kolb. Detroit may still be a bottom feeder in this league, but they had a week to prepare for Vick and you know they will make him beat them with his arm.

Not sure if this qualifies as "going agaisnt the grain" as most still down see Benson as a borderline RB1 for 2010, but sitting Benson for Moreno.
