Who are you dropping? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at dropping Vincent Brown. He actually looked good when given the chance, but if Eddie Royal is going to be an integral part of the offense, I'm not sure Vincent will get enough targets to keep him over the likes of Edelman, Roberts, M. Brown, Baldwin and several of the tight ends (WR/TE league for me).
Unless there's someone with more upside out there, I would keep hanging on to Brown. (Though I'm biased, I have him too.) I think Royal is Fool's Gold. He's never surfaced as a threat after he left the Broncos (and that was in the Cutler era IIRC).

I'm between Bernard Pierce and Christine Michael in my keeper league. I like the possible upside of both, but need more immediate RB help. Probably going to be Pierce, bit Michael's DNP was definitely concerning.

I'm dumping Kendall Wright and Jake Locker.

The Titan experiment is over and it's time to move onto more promising prospects.

was considering dropping Vincent Brown for Edelman, but probably won't. We can only have a max of 4 WR so it was tempting but I definitely think Vincent Brown is significantly better ROS once Gronk/Amendola play again.

I want to drop Ingram (b/c he might not even be as good as mediocre & doesn't get used anyway). I also have Pierre Thomas. It's just hard for me ot drop a healthy RB right now, especially one in an explosive offense. If I drop him, and PT goes down, I'll never get him back (blind bidding + a couple desperate, RB-hungry teams)

I actually like Edelman ROS. Even when Gronk gets, back, Edelman is probably #3 on the pecking order. And that's assuming Gronk and Amendola are actually healthy, which is wishful thinking if you're a Pats fan (recognizing Edelman has his own injury history). Vereen is out and Sudfeld and Thompkins were underwhelming. I'll take the 2/3 option in a Tom Brady offense all day.

In a league where WR and TE are all the same, I'm looking at Edelman, Cook, J. Thomas and possible Jordan Cameron or Andre Roberts. Edelman and Cook are definitely more attractive ROS than V. Brown IMO. The others are debatable.

Bumping for week 3:

Darrius Heyward Bey - Hurt his shoulder, getting an MRI

Dallas Clark & Brent Celek - chasing stats

V Brown - you could hold him, but why? there's plenty of flavor of the week options with more upside than him.

I don't understand this one at all. Pierce is the clear feature back handcuff and has the ability to score flex points weekly. Christine Michael has not played one snap yet this year and wouldn't be a complete handcuff. At best, Michael would get the early down work. Turbin is the clear 3rd down back, and possibly would take early down snaps as well. Turbin has looked pretty good in his spot work.

Dropping Pierce instead of Christine Michael is a monster mistake, IMO.

Sometimes FF players can't differentiate between dynasty and redraft. Pre-season garbage time hype can do that to the best of us.

I hate giving up on guy so early in the year, but I am likely to drop Britt for whatever crap is on the wire this week.

Time to drop him in redraft since the rest of his schedule looks difficult and the likelihood you would start him even if healthy is low.

Here's my take....

QB:
Probably not many here, but if you drafted Josh Freeman to be your backup, maybe you are looking for a more exciting backup like EJ Manuel or Pryor. With QB being so deep, maybe only keeping one QB on your roster is the way to go and drop backups like Freeman, Roethlisberger, Cutler, or even Bradford....assuming that you have a better option.
OP nailed this one. I thought the idea of dropping a backup QB after a single week of action was silly, especially someone whom I was as high in the offseason as Freeman ... until I watched someone else grab Manuel off the wire while Free put the cherry on a horrific off-field week by going 9-for-22 against the Saints' defense.
