Who are you starting Chris Brown over this week? (1 Viewer)

Who are you starting Chris Brown over this week?

What is your Chris Brown projections for this week?

Does Chris Brown become a must start this week after last week performance?

I got Chris Brown off waivers last year (dynasty) and I sat him last week, but will start him this week as RB3 over Jamal Lewis.

I am expecting 20-25 carries for maybe 100 and a TD. I am still not a believer in the Colts D.

I think he will outperform Jamal v Bengals.

With Lendale still getting half of the carries and the bulk of the red zone carries, I'd be hesitant. Although the Titans will try to run 40 times against the Colts.

He's my flex4 (start 11 on offense), ahead of Jacoby Jones, Reggie Williams, Kevin Faulk, Ginn, Troupe, SYoung, and KKeith. Not exactly a difficult call, except with Jacoby.

silly people...

Chris brown is on pace for a 2800 yard rushing season. Considering the Jags D is one of the better units in the NFL, so I'll bump that number up to 3000 yards

Id start him over LT

I might play him as my #2, as TJones is going against Baltimore (he wasn't too impressive against NE) and my Caddy is in the shop...AGAIN.

D. Branch (Flex), or maybe Portis, or maybe LJ.......damn.

Or maybe Caddy

Anyone have links to clips of C.Brown's runs last week?

I'm skeptical of starting Brown even if FBG has him ranked ahead of some of my other options. If he's ranked ahead of Portis [firewalled to rankings from work] that seems to be a big reach on someone's part. I would think there's a legit risk of this game getting out of control and the Titans abandoning the run. Also the Indy D looked pretty good against Bush (3.2 YPC)/McAllister (3.8 YPC).

I got Brown in almost ALL my leagues....Tuff call where to play him though.

One league

I may START him over Maroney (vs Chargers) other plays are ADDAI and Portis

Another league he SITS behind Sjax Rudi and A.Green

Another league he SITS behind SA, Gore and A.Green

Another leauge IM UNDECIDED on who to play: T.Henry Colsten, (then i need 3 more out of Brown, Driver, Calvin, Duece, A.Green and Dwill.) Tuff decisions here.

I've got

Benson

Ahman Green

Caddy

Chris Brown

Leon Washington

I'm looking at sitting him behind Benson & Ahman, but it is tempting to start him

I am not sure what I am doing yet. In one of my leagues, I am thinking about starting him. What do you guys think I should do?

Ahman Green at Carolina

or

Chris Brown vs Indy

Start me off 2-0 for the season with the most total points scored.

I think Chris Brown is a good play this week. Tenn played Indy tough twice last year and beat them at home late in the year. The ran for good yardage as a team in both games.

I'm deciding between Brown and Curry as my flex spot and am leaning towards Brown due to Curry's tough matchup and qb situation.

I am starting Travis Henry and Willie Parker.
Good for you. :lmao: I'm thinking about starting him over Ronnie Brown this week. I would like to see more out of that Dolphins team before I get back on the Brown train. He's making me nervous.
LOL. Sorry, I thought the thread said who are you starting OVER Chris Brown.Amazing how much talk this one player has gotten over the last few years.

Chris Brown over Joe Horn for my 2nd flex spot in a PPR league.

If he shows up just half of what he did last week he outscores what Joe Horn did last week by 9!!

I'll take the risk here.

Just a thought here-

Jax has a lot of meat up front, a power runner like Lendale gets stuffed, but CB was able to use speed to get past the front line and therefore had a lot of room to run

Indy, however is a speed defense, they will match strengths with CB. Weakness of a speed D, however, is wearing down under constant pounding.

Indy contained Bush last week (speed) and the Saints were widely criticized for not letting Duece pound the rock more.

Maybe a bit of over-analysis here, and I've been wrong before, but how prophetic if the Titians control the clock with a heavy dose of Fatdale

Tennessee can run the ball and are committed ...

Colts historically struggle against the run away from home ...

Brown was on fire last week ...

I like Brown and am starting him over Julius, Jamal Lewis, Caddy, Derrick Ward and such ...

I'm staying with Lendale White over Brown myself in my flex spot. This game is tailor made for Lendale. The Colts struggle against power runners, Lendale ran well on the Colts last season and I think the Titans would prefer the consistent yards Lendale should/would give them over the homerun potential of Brown as they will seek to control the clock.

In place of whom Benson of Green?
Wassup B MI actually feel pretty good about Benson at home vs Kansas City and Ahman Green @ Carolina this week, but if I were to start Chris Brown at home vs Indy, I would probably put him in to replace Ahman Green. I know there's a crapload of Benson hate out there, but I stand by him thinking he'll have a solid fantasy season. Especially against opponents that the Bears may/should beat by a couple touchdowns.

 Lendale will get more yards than Brown this week.

Maroney

Henry

Portis

CBrown

I think I am going to keep him on the bench and go with Portis and Henry. I am hoping for a big week this week because I need help at the WR spot.

ditto

Have any of you seen Brown lately, the dude is super ripped as compared to Fatdale. Both are injury risks through out the season, but I'd put my money on Brown this week.

With Browns physical improvement I'd think his injury risk should be downgraded.

Starting him over Benson
:goodposting:I would seriously consider not doing this, but with all the Benson hate around here, I'm not surprised you're considering this. I also doubt you'll find many other that agree with me.I'm starting Benson over Brown, but am considering Brown over Ahman.

I am starting Brown over Dunn, Jacbos and Caddy as RB #2 - at least penciled anyway;

Paired him with FWP!

I expect 22 carries 92 yards and a touch

L. White: 14 carries 55 yards

Im having a real tough time starting him over Julius Jones.

If Indy's defense is for real, CB might have a rough time finding running room.

Julius on the other hand plays the weak Dolphins.

Probably riding pine behind Willie Parker, McGahee and Lamont Jordan. I briefly considered sitting McGahee, and may still reconsider, but still think I'd need to see one more consistent performance before he's a must start.

I think i'm going to pull the trigger on him as my RB2 over Julius Jones and Jerious Norwood.

I'm hoping that the Titans stay committed to the run (got them a win) and Brown sneaks it in for a TD. It is a PPR league so I'm having a tough time deciding between these 3.
