Who are you starting over LJ this week? (1 Viewer)

I'm starting LJ w/ confidence and going Moss, MEGATRON, Cotchery and Jennings @ WR (1 RB, 2 WR, 2 flex). Other options at RB are KSmith, Lendale White and DA WIlliams.

Starting LJ with uber confidence behind LT at RB.TO, TJ Housh, Cotchery and Holmes as my WR (2 rb, 2 wr, 2 flex) with Mo Mo, Leon Wash, L white, c johnson and the whole ginn family on the bench.

Given your RB options, I think this is a good play. But let's make it interesting. Let's say you had 1 RB, 1 WR, and 3 flex. Would you feel comfortable starting LJ in one of those flex spots over Housh, Cotchery, or Holmes?

Well like I said, I think I am starting McFadden over LJ. My other back is LT. My gut told me to start Rodgers over Eli and I didn't listen, the result 11 points.

Bah.. I'm from KC and I can tell you that unless you're in a situation where you can't find a guy scheduled to get over 60-70 yards, that you should look elsewhere.

The Chiefs are SOOOO bad.. only Gonzo warrants a start this week.

LJ will end up with an ok overall season, but this is not one of the games to play him.

I do not agree. The chiefs know they are going to be bad. They will be out of this game by the end of the first quarter. Do you think they will try to throw the ball the whole time to get back into the game? That would be crazy and would be dangerous for Croyle. I think once they realize they have lost the game they will try to "practice" the offence they are going to use the rest of the year. That means a whole lot of LJ. I say he will get you 80 to 90 yards. If they are in the game or not. What would you do if you were the coach? This team needs as much work as a full team as they can get. That means running LJ.

12 team redraft. Picked up LJ in the second round as my #1. Also drafted these guys so I wouldn't be completely in the dumps if LJ struggles. Jamal Lewis, Thomas Jones, Kevin Smith, Chris Perry, Andre Hall.

Tough drafting from the 11 spot this year...

Start 2 and I'm going with LJ and Thomas Jones. I think I'll definitely be playing matchups all year.

Ah, that is interesting Butters. I probably would start the three receivers at the flex and just see what LJ does. I like to have a player prove he should be a starter and feel the matchups favor the 3 recievers. I'm comfortable with him as my RB2, but then again, I have LT.

I have Larry Johnson, Jones-Drew, Willie Parker, and Chris Johnson. I had a lot of thoughts of getting crazy and benching LJ for Parker, but I finally just decided I drafted him in the 1st round for a reason, I'm going to live or die.

Right now I've got LJ benched in favor of Turner. I LOVE that Turner matchup against DET week 1 (worst rushing defense in the league last year), and I'm really petrified of LJ and the running game falling by the wayside early when NE runs up the score.

Right now I've got LJ and Turner going...Morris is my only alternate so it was an easy choice for me.

In a 12 team PPR league, I am starting Addai, Turner, Holt, and H. Ward and benching LJ. It came down to Ward and LJ. If Hines gets 7 catches for 80 yards, that is 15 points and I will consider the move a success. I think LJ is too high on the cheatsheets. I don't see him getting more than 80 total yards with possibly a short TD.

I should avoid these threads...they make me overthink things! :-)
