Who are your week 7 breakout performers? (1 Viewer)

groin pains

Had some fun with this last week and did get some great feedback. Lets hear your gut breakout performers for this week. Last week I weny with Hakeem Nicks and he delivered a respectable 5/114/1.

This week I will go with Justin Fargas. With Jenkins done for the year, I think the Raiders will be able to run on the Jets D...once again just a hunch!

Donald Brown - I see him putting on a show in a blowout and padding his stats in garbage time vs the RAMS. I'm starting him in the flex over Caddy.

Urban, if Boldin is out.
Breaston wont get increased love in his absence?
Obviously, but Urban will get increased looks slipping into Breaston's usual role. MoMass will be this week's breakout performer (for the 2nd time this year).
DO the Cardinals do this? Why have 2 players playing out of position, especially with all the 3 WR sets they run.
That's the way it worked last year (and worked out well I might add) when Boldin was out. I would think with the same exact personnel it would work that way this year.

The right Choice will be Tashard Choice getting things going this week as the Cowboys start to make a move in the NFC East

apparently Bush had a head injury early in the game so they had to rely on Fargas all game. That probably won't be the case this week.

Concussion? Haven't heard about this, thought it was merely the waffling of the Raiders personnell decisions

I don’t think that Jake Delhomme with throw an interception this week

Does that count as a break out performance?

Leon Washington finally has that monster game we all thought he should have had much earlier.

With Sanchez having problems, Ryan will back off and run the ball much more this coming week. The Raiders may be due for a let down after last weeks big win and they may focus too much on Jones in their planning after Jones big week.

This may be setting up as the perfect storm for Leon.

The only problem would be a possibly slow track in Oakland which would give Jones the edge. In any case, Leon should have plenty of opportunities this week and he's probably hungry as hell.

Not a Concussion, he said he was hit in the back of the head. That is all that was said so far.

I went with James Jones last week and he got his first score of the season. I'm sticking with him due to Jordy Nelson being out and Jones picking up the extra snaps.

Nate Washington will double his yardage totals from last week. Oh wait - that'd be bad. And he's on bye...

How about this - Favre will continue to defy gravity and put up 3/250 against the Steelers.

I am curious about the Choice and Fargas discussions. McFadden is out so Fargas should see plenty of action and Bush had a head injury? Something to watch for me with CJ and MJD on byes. Choice as well could get alot of action if MB3 and Jones are are limited. No need to hide it, I need a WW pick-up for this week and both these guys are available and have the potential to score this week.

I came in here to post Leon also...add to the facts that you brought up that 200 yards is a lot of yardage for any RB, let along a guy in his 30s. Jones helped me win my game this past week, but I hope the Buffalo game does not slow him down too much. I have a feeling the Jets/Oak game is going to be a 25 points TOTAL game, so I am not sure whether there is a ton of vaule there...but if there is some, I am guessing Leon takes advantage.

I'll echo the Favre pick. He seems to do best in competitive games and both teams will have to air it out due to the both teams having good run D's. I'm starting the old man!

Same boat. My choice was Choice.

Now that the running game is going, how about Steve Smith (CAR).
From your mouth to..... Just traded for him today. Hoping that his tantrum puts Fox and Delhomme on notice that they might get a fistful of Smitty if they don't start throwing him the damn ball!

I'll go with Mike Wallace at home against the Vikings defense. The Viking D will probably force Roethlisberger to throw repeatedly, and I expect Wallace to get open deep a time or two and score a TD on a long pass. I'll say 4/106/1 for Wallace.

Darren Sproles was pretty quiet last week. I think he's ready to make a little noise against the Chiefs this week. 60 on the ground, another 70 through the air and a TD.

The "Law Firm" goes for over a buck and two TD's.
I was going to say Green-Ellis as well.I could see Maroney and BJGE being mixed in, but with BJGE running better and Belicheck sticking with the hot hand.
What am I missing? Why do you guys think BJGE is going to take the job from Maroney? He ran pretty well last game also.

Matt Cassel throws for 275 and 3 TD's. Bowe doesn't drop a single pass.

Brandon Jacobs has one game to prove that he isn't a huge bust. I like him against Arizona this week.

Austin Collie cements his role in Indy.

Vernon Davis shows 'em who the real #1 receiver is in SF.
