Who did YOU drop for Patten, Henderson, or Meachem? (1 Viewer)

Dropped Mark Clayton for Patten in 1PPR league. Probably could have benefited from this move even with Colston healthy, lol.

Dropped Mark Clayton for Henderson in a no PPR league. I've got a good WR1 and WR2 though, so I'm really just looking for trade value and it's much more likely that Henderson will have a couple big games than Clayton.

If i had to pick one of the three Meachem is the guy.

patton is will do nice but he is not a feature WR type, meachem showed in preseason he was a feature type

ginn in one league, chris perry in the other.
Interesting that you would drop a starting running back for a WR with increased value only for 4-6 weeks. Are you really down on Perry or do you need a lot of help at WR?

Couldn't agree more...that's just dumb to dump Perry (a starting RB who was up against a tough D last week) for a fill-in WR. I wish you were in my league

I dropped Kevin Boss for Henderson...I was too slow to pick up Patten who would help me more since my league is PPR.

I already had Meachem & was gonna cut him this week. Now I'll see what he can do for at least a week.

Henderson is way too inconsistent, I'm not gonna bother. Patten was drafted in both of my leagues.

Have Colston in 3 leagues. In two of them, I have Eddie Royal on the bench, so I'm not making any moves.

In the third, Henderson is the only one available. I put in for him and would drop Sweed if I got him. Sweed was only on my roster because this is a keeper league.

All three were already owned in my league (kind of surpised by this)...unfortunately, I am the Colston owner.

grabbed Patten ...... dumped Gaffney.

Hope this eases the pain of choosing Gaffney over Eddie Royal on the waiver wire Sunday morning...

ginn in one league, chris perry in the other.
Yeah, I'm actually trying to work a trade real quick to open a spot up but may end up just dropping Ginn for either Henderson or Patten. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two though.

Dropped Reggie Brown for Patten. Henderson and Meacham are both available. 16 team, start 3 WR, no PPR league.

Maurice Morris in one league (partly because I see him missing more than 2 games and because I think I can grab him back again next week if need be) ... DeShaun Foster in another (I own Gore in that league).

Henderson had two targets in week one. So did Patten.

I don't have the history with Henderson so I am leaning that way. Seems he has the potential for the "big" pops.

Side tangent...how quick do you move one of the three WRs listed if you have them? It's a good situation that all three were taken late and depending on Colston's return and the short term results, it's a great time to take the lottery ticket and see if you can upgrade for an underperforming WR.

On the other hand, this is swinging the door wide open to the WR2 in a dynamic offense...

Depends on the league. I'm basically running my girlfriend's 10-team work league, and I stacked her teams with RBs, and have (had?) good WR starters, but with Colston out, dropped Perry for Desean Jackson. That was the only fat on the roster.I would say though in a competitive 12-team league, it's probably a bit suspect to have to cut Perry for one of these WR fill-ins. You're better off trading Perry than cutting him.

On a side note, in my main league I didn't drop anyone, just put him on IR. Are there really this many leagues that don't use an IR function?

if henderson or patten make it to me in the waivers (i'm in first so it's doubtful) i'll be dropping mason in one league for one or the other. in another league i'm thinking of giving the boot to ginn but not sold on that move quite yet.

12 team league, 15 man rosters, 3 keepers picked by Super Bowl, non-PPR league.

Starting requirements: QB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, TE, PK, D/ST.

Dropped: Vince Young (have Kurt Warner as starter)

Added: David Patten (WR5 to Steve Smith/Brandon Marshall/Calvin Johnson/Kevin Walter)

Was surprised Patten actually available in both of my leagues. Henderson was available in one of them, but both are PPR and I think Patten will be the one out of that pair to see more targets.

dropping Maurice Morris in one. (also holding on to Meachem in that one, although more with an eye towards a keeper next year.)

dropping Alge Crumpler in the other.

On a side note- a thumb injury's a little scary for a guy whose job depends on his hands. After suffering through waiting out Andre Johnson's "4 week" knee injury last year, it wouldn't surprise me if Colston's out or ineffective a little longer than a month.

All leagues PPR

I own Colston in this one: blind bid dropping J Walker for Patten

Need WR help here: requested Patten dropping Pennington (Brees/Kinta on board)

Just because: requested Patten dropping Mo Maurice

We'll see tonight which ones make it through.

Dropped Reggie Brown for Patten. Henderson and Meacham are both available. 16 team, start 3 WR, no PPR league.
How are Henderson and Patten both available in a 16tm start 3WR league anyway? And your worst WR is Reggie Brown? I'd like to see your roster

I think there are a lot of leagues that use an IR function. However this isn't a "What did you do with Marques Colston?" thread. It's a "Who did you drop for Patten, Henderson, or Meachem?" thread. I'm sure the majority of the people responding in this thread never had Colston on their team.

LMAO @ all the Ted Ginn and Chris Perry reference, as these are the ONLY guys I'm also considering to drop for any of the NO receivers.

My roster:QB - Rivers, Kerry CollinsRB - AP, Norwood, Sammy Morris, HightowerWR - Holt, Ocho Cinco, Cotchery, Patten, Courtney TaylorTE - GatesK - KaedingD/ST - GiantsHad Young and cut him for Collins. We have roster limits of 2 QBs, 4 RBs, and 5 WRs, so I could not keep Young and add Collins. There is literally no starting QB available on the waiver wire, so I felt compelled to add Collins. My team is obviously pretty weak at QB and RB2.More to your point, I considered cutting Taylor instead of Brown, but he had 9 targets last week, so I'm hoping he'll get another chance. Of course, when Branch & Engram come back, it may not matter... but then again, Taylor is my last roster spot right now, and that spot will turn over for bye weeks and better options as they become available. And it isn't clear when Brown will return and how much action he will get given the success for all the Philly WRs last week, and even more so when Curtis returns. That said, I agree it is surprising they were all available. Kevin Curtis and Branch are also out there, along with Henderson, Meacham, and Brown. Meacham was rostered but was dropped in the overnight waiver process last night.

I'm in a league where we only have 13 roster spots, so I dropped Scheffler for Patten. My starting TE is Shockey, and my only other WR's are Ocho Cinco and Holt.

Dropped San Diego DST for Patten. I have Giants as starting DST. The Colston owner already dropped him for VJax. I immediately put in a waiver claim (I'm 7th).

Holt.

(kidding but it's gotta be a spiteful temptation for Holt owners after this past Sunday)
