Who do you want your favorite team to draft? (1 Viewer)

This isn't a who do you think they will draft or what you think they'll do, ie trade down, this is a thread for assuming your team keeps their 1st round pick(s) who would you like them to take. Please be as realistic as possible

Green Bay - Arthur Brown (LB) while the Packers have plenty of needs to me their biggest weakness is toughness on defense and terrible tackling. I love Arthur Brown as a player as he would help GB in both areas plus he'd likely replace my most hated Packer AJ Hawk, who's slow and doesn't wrap up. I also like Slyvester Williams, Cyprien and Elam quite a bit and a number of DT's in the 2nd but Brown would be my ideal pick. I would love to see a LB group of Perry and Matthews on the outside with Bishop and Brown in the middle.

I'm hoping a fantastic lineman (either side of the ball) drops to the Packers in the first, a great running back falls to the in the 2nd, and a decent safety falls to them in the third.

Love the Arthur Brown note ... I've seen his name bounced around a lot. I'm all for the non-prototypical size guys that have awesome game tape and intangibles, and he fits the bill.

Steelers:

I'd be happy with any of the following: Jarvis Jones, Kenny Vaccaro, Arthur Brown, Bjoern Werner, Corradelle Patterson. Xavier Rhodes, DJ Hayden

Even though I'd be happy with Eifert, I feel like that is a luxury pick, and there are other areas which need immediate relief.

I like these though I would add Mingo and subtract Patterson -- I hear he is dumb as a rock.

Lions need one of Joekel, Fisher, Johnson in 1st. Hope we end up with Ryan Swope.

I agree with this as well. I too would add Mingo, but keep Patterson and subtract Vaccaro.

I'd love for Pitt to land Jesse Williams, DT Bama in either round 2 or more preferably rond 3. This guy is perfect for Pitt and highly underrated IMO. I actually think there is virtually no way he gets out of round 2. However, many mocks have him in the 3rd.

I just hope the Bengals focus on the offense with those 1st 3 picks. The defense has been unbelievable and added Harrison and gets Kirkpatrick hopefully.

We play GB, NE, Indy, Lions, etc so we need to score points. If we take a step back on offense, it will really hurt the long-term plan for Dalton. Weapons for Dalton or OLine.

Lacy/Bernard, WR, Eifert, Watson, Fluker

If it needs to be defense, Cyprien over the others.

I want the Vikings to take EJ Manuel. I believe he has the talent and the mental makeup to develop into a franchise QB.

I'm praying that Daniel Jeremiah's last mock plays out and Buffalo ends up with Dion Jordan.

I truly believe one of Barkley/Nassib/Manuel/Smith will still be there for their 2nd round pick.

Well, my first preference is actually a trade down to accumulate more picks, but staying where they are, Jordan would be fantastic. I could be happy with Jarvis Jones or Tavon Austin as well.

Several sources within the last 24 hours have said Jordan is a 'lock' for the Eagles if he's availabe at 4. Speaking of the Eagles, I'd like to see them get, in order of preference: Fisher, Joeckel or Jordan. I was originally on the Milliner bandwagon, but I'm seeing too many red flags right now.

For Chicago, my favorite team, I'd just like to see a GOOD, SOLID pick. I don't care about position, I just tire of all the wasted 1st rounders. To throw names out, I'd love to see Cooper or Warmack drop to them. Failing that, I'd be good with Ogletree, Tavon Austin or even a guy like Sylvester Williams. If we trade back, someone like Te'o be fine with me.

Cowboys- Reid, safety or one of the guards.

Would love to see them trade down and grab an extra 2nd. Too many holes with not enough picks.

I can definitely see Jordan to the Eagles, but Jeremiah has Lane Johnson to them which also makes a lot of sense. Jeremiah also has strong ties to the Eagles so I think an OT there is still very possible. But I do think it seems unlikely Jordan makes it to the Bills. But that's why it's a thread for what we want, not what we think will happen. And while it's not likely, it's not totally out of the question either. So it's not like I'm picking Jordan or Milliner to the Miners at 32.

I hope the Dolphins pick someone MOP likes so I don't have to come in here a read about what a horrible pick it was. Guy is habitually negative when it comes to his favorite team.

I want the Jaguars not to trade back up into the first round. I want to wake up tomorrow with them still holding pick #33.
33 is, IMO, the most important pick in the draft. You have all night to field offers offers for players who slid a bit more than they should have and you always have multiple suitors so you can start a bidding war.

:goodposting: + Eiffert and minus Patterson

Saints:

Cord Patterson

Kiki Mingo

Jones

Ogletree

Rhodes

I'd also be happy with Austin, Vacarro, Cyprien, Jordan (pfft right), Letulelei.

Please get Sylvester Williams to the Packers. Either that or a successful trade down.

Dream, completely far-fetched scenario is a trade back into round 2 where a team there gives up its 1st next year ala the Brady Quinn deal between Cleveland and Dallas in 2007. The ultimate goal of a trade back there for GB would be to get one of either of the Johnathans (Hankins or Jenkins) in the 2nd and wind up with a 2014 1st rounder that winds up being high in the draft.

All GB needs is some disillusioned team to move up to grab a QB ahead of Jax's #33 and then hope that said disillusioned team falls flat so bad next year that the 2014 #1 they give up ends up being #1 overall. Hello Jadeveon Clowney! I'm looking at you Buffalo Bills (#41) and Arizona Cardinals (#38).

Redskins - Terron Armstead, OT

Right tackle has been a revolving door for so long.

If not him, then best available corner or safety. It's a deep draft at those positions so I think we can shore both up in rounds 2-4.

My favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers:

If they stay put, hope they target: Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International

If they move up, hope they target: "Tank" Carradine, DE, Florida State OR Kenny Vacarro, S, Texas (if they don't have to give up too much)

I don't really pay much attention to the non skill position guys, so I don't have a great idea of what's out there at OL, LB, DL, DB, etc.

Having said that, I'd like the Niners to get Ace Sanders in the 4th-5th round as a punt returner and backup receiver. I think he'll add something to whichever team gets him.

I'm on board with all of this. Trade back to like 40 and then get a Top 5 pick next season.

Browns - Trade back as much as possible to accumulate 2014 picks. Failing that, I am a fan of trying out Barkevious Mingo or Jarvis Jones.

Disagree, I'd like to finally see us address safety. If the top half of the first round works out as crazy as the rumor mill has it, maybe, just maybe, we'll luck out Vaccaro will slip through. I'd be fine with Cyprien as well. I wouldn't mind if we traded back a few spots if it means we can get an extra 3rd rounder.

RB at the top of round 2.

OT with the other pick in round 2 (whether or not we sign Andre).

After that, BPA (which would likely include a DE, WR, TE, QB, CB, and maybe another S).
