Who do you want your team to draft? (1 Viewer)

49ers:

Peterson, Von Miller, or trade down.

I'm praying they don't take a QB in round 1. I don't think either guy is franchise material, at least not in Harbaugh's offense. I wouldn't be disappointed if they took Green or Jones at WR if one of them fell and Miller and Peterson were gone.

If New Orleans had Ingram fall into their lap, I'd buy a jersey ASAP. RB isnt a position of need, but when your team drfats a player from your college it always feels good.

Bengals- Newton or Green.Peterson is amazing and I haven't ruled out Fairley, but its time to start over on the offensive side of the ball. This is not a playoff caliber team in 2011 so you might as well pull off the bandaid and start over with Newton or grab Green if you happen to prefer a QB you can get later. Lots of people are saying that Newton is a risk, but the Bengals are in a position where they need to take a risk if given that oppurtunity.
I disagree with cheese on this one. I'd like to see us get either Peterson or someone to help with the pass rush.Doesn't matter - I'm pretty sure it's gonna end up being Green.-QG

Bills - Dareus or Miller or Peterson.
x2If it came down to it and they ended up taking Newton, I wouldn't be devastated, but he had BETTER pan out if they do take him. And they had better take him because they think he'll be a great NFL QB, not because he'd be a good "fit" for Chan Gailey. You don't draft players that high to fit in a specific coach's system because you never know how long that coach will be around IMO.
Those are my thoughts too. Dareus is much higher for me than the rest. And I would have Peterson 3a and Newton 3b. But man it kills me to say that. I REALLY hate Newton.
Schefter said this morning that the building buzz is the Bills take Gabbert at 3. That'd be my least favorite option I think. IMO, there's not nearly enough upside to Gabbert to justify him over a defender that they really need. Especially when one of Locker/Dalton/Ponder/Kaepernick will probably still be there in the 2nd round.

Raiders:

I'd like Al to trade in to the first and take Jimmy Smith to replace Asomugha. Barring that, I would sit tight and wait on Stephan Wisniewski at pick 48.

Oh please no. This had better be talking about 2nd round and not #3 overall. If this happens in the 1st round I'm done.

Here it is: FSU OC James Coley. RT @CFTalk Hey @evansilva, Christian and not Blaine to Bills? RT @CoachColey: One word... Buffalo

I have the bills taking Gabbert with the third pick in my Mock. He is the top QB and i think he will be a good fit in Buffalo.

Sounds like a false alarm. He's in Buffalo to do some recruiting of Jim Kelly's nephew. Phew. I would love Ponder in the 2nd, but not 3 overall.

New dream scenario for me as a Bengals fan:

1) Panthers get Green/Newton

2) Broncos get Von Miller

3) Bills get Newton/Gabbert

4) Dareus falls into our lap at #4 (and miraculously Mikey Boy doesn't screw it up) (even though as a Bengals fan I'm more than a little leery of getting any players from 'bama after Andre Smith).

Casey Matthews. Packers. Because he's got hall of fame bloodlines. And those bloodlines are known for longevity and knack for avoiding catastrophic injury. That derails more players than anything else.
