Who does Revis cover this week? (1 Viewer)

Revis is out this weekend as per Roto. Upgrade to A. Brown as Cromatie will most likely be covering Wallace.

Yup. I actually think cromartie will do a good job on Wallace. He's big and fast enough to run with him.

Kyle Wilson is still improving and had a great int last week, but brown is a tough cover for him.

Jets really need to amp up the pass rush and put Ben on his back. Good news for ny is they are probably getting pouha back, which will be a big help against the run. Plus Pitt will probably be without polamalu in addition to Harrison

Do we know for certain that it will be Cromartie on Wallace? Denver using Bailey largely on Brown makes me wonder who the league considers Pittsburgh's most dangerous receiver.

Certain? I don't know if anyone outside of the Jets coaching staff can say for certain. Brown is quicker than the faster, taller Wallace. I could see where Cro covers Wallace more than I do him covering Brown. Without Revis you have to bump up Brown and to some extent Wallace. The safeties will help on Brown which may free up Wallace. Revis needs no safety help.

Darrelle Revis (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Revis was cleared to run around with teammates during some 11-on-11 drills at Friday's practice, but he hasn't gotten the go-ahead to face contact and will not make the trip to the Steel City. With Dustin Keller (hamstring) also inactive, the Jets will be shorthanded for Sunday's game. Look for Antonio Cromartie to work mostly against Mike Wallace while Antonio Brown matches up with some combination of Kyle Wilson and Ellis Lankster. Brown's matchup went from the toughest in the league to perhaps one of the most favorable. Sep 14 - 1:53 PM

Past history would suggest Cro on Wallace. In the past, they usually put Cromartie on the "athletic guys". Like when they play Dallas, althought they switch some, they primarily put Cromartie on Dez and Revis on Austin. I think it makes sense...let Cromartie run with Wallace, jump, etc and put a couple of guys on Brown. Bump him and give that help over the top and, in general, unleash every hound they have to try to get after Ben.

As a jet fan, I would be shocked if cro isn't on Wallace. Based on their skill sets, it's the logical matchup

I would agree with this. Brown .vs Wilson will be interesting, Wilson is not a terrible #3 CB but I also think that the Steelers will try to get Sanders on the field a lot early to see how the Jets Nickel looks with Trufant in there.

Apparently no one. Out this week according to Rotoworld.

Bump Wallace/Brown. Downgrade Jets DST.

Fair enough....I'll but the high ceiling gamble, but no one should be surprised that he zeroed out. I saw Brown consistently generate positive ppr numbers last year, and have watched Jones consistently fail to take advantage of opportunities in a dynamic passing offense over the last five years
