That's fine, not every thread is for everyone. Have a great day!I don't understand the question.
Bundle it all together. Being honest = telling the truth and playing by the rules.By honest do you mean most candidly saying things they really mean, or putting forward semi-coherent and plausible policy ideas? The answer would be different for each.
Is it really lying if Trump actually believes what he is saying?
Unfortunately, it is not.Is it really lying if Trump actually believes what he is saying?
What rules?Bundle it all together. Being honest = telling the truth and playing by the rules.
Only in a political thread would someone try to spin a pretty simple question.By honest do you mean most candidly saying things they really mean, or putting forward semi-coherent and plausible policy ideas? The answer would be different for each.
What this guy said. The buffoon who regurgitates conspiracy theories and slanders women in general, minorities by the handful and anyone he perceives to have been "bad" to him OR the ultimate political animal who will pander to whichever audience she is playing too and can speak in half-truths without blinking an eye? Those two are my choices? None of the above the clear run away winner imo.
I understand but there will not be a 3rd option.None of the above is still the leader.
Oops I misread -- I thought it said DISHonest. Please deduct one vote for Hillary and add one to Trump. We all know that Hillary is a champion liar but Trump has told some real whoppers during his campaign.
Tough call. Went with Hillary
Tough call. I voted HRC because she I think her positions are at least thought out. When Trump says things like, "Mexico will pay for the wall, trust me, they will" or promises massive tax cuts for the rich while increasing military spending and balancing the budget, he's being fundamentally dishonest.Bundle it all together. Being honest = telling the truth and playing by the rules.
Really does comes down to what's worse, crooked or stupid. If they actually believe what they say, it isn't lying. It is ignorance.
Not in this poll.Really does comes down to what's worse, crooked or stupid.
Yeah, I get this vibe too. Perfect example is the Cruz' dad was involved in the JFK assassination stuff -- I mean, I think that Cruz might be even more repulsive than Trump himself, but really, WTF? It was totally unnecessary -- Trump was cruising regardless. It's so obviously crazy BS. Why even say something like that?Trump has told a million lies, a few big ones, and many of them were needless. If you check out any reporter from the NYC scene of the 80s and beyond, its the same pattern. So his lying is pathological - Cruz and Sanders were right.
Meanwhile, Hillary has told a few strategic lies.
Let's face it, just about everyone would associate the word "dishonest" with these two.Oops I misread -- I thought it said DISHonest. Please deduct one vote for Hillary and add one to Trump.
I think stupid is more dangerous, particularly to our international relations. "Crooked" can cause some havoc to the domestic economy, but it's de rigueur in most countries.Really does comes down to what's worse, crooked or stupid.
