who have you been buying low in dynasty leagues? (1 Viewer)

One thing that I don't understand is how anyone is able to acquire these guys on the cheap. Most of these guys have been sitting on rosters for some time and the owner likely paid more than what is currently being offered and unless they are in total desperation are likely to ride out guys like Chris Perry, rather than trade him for a 4th round rookie pick. Personally, guys that are buy low candidates are guys that may be past their prime but can offer value because the owner is willing to give them up relatively cheap, i.e. Donald Driver. Guys like Chris Henry, Chris Perry, Cotchery, Pierre Thomas, etc. have too much upside value for the current owners to give them up cheap.

Chris Perry is on most of my waiver wires. I will let other owners waste space with him.

DriverI can see Drivers numbers going up from last year, to more like his other years. He is still getting more targets than Jennings in general and the red zone, just did not convert more this past year. Rodgers does not seem to be the long ball gunslinger that Favre was, meaning he should be throwing more shorter passes to move the chains. Driver also appears to still be in great shape and still playing at a high level.
Driver had a shoulder injury in TC last year that hurt him most of the season. Jennings is still the #1 guy from Rodgers play but expect a lot out of Driver too.
In PPR leagues Driver is money in the bank. Jennings will stretch the field but Driver is an ideal security blanket for a QB, especially a young one. It's not unreasonable to expect 80/1100/5 next season as a fine WR2, solid WR3.
