The INT in OT was a horrible throw without a doubt but I think a lot of people are forgetting that Favre did throw 2 TDs in that game, including a 90 yarder to Driver on a day when the Packers could not run the ball for squat and Plaxico Burress was turning Al Harris into jelly. Favre was put into a situation where he had to make a lot of plays to win the game and ultimately he failed.
Very  If Al Harris has even a pretty good day, the Packers win that game. Him getting torched by Burress all day was the difference.
Nice to see someone who gets it.
And if Favre had a better day they could have won too.Or if the line had a better day run blocking they could have won.Or if Jarrett Bush had fallen on a loose ball rather than trying to pick it up they could have won. There was no one single reason for them losing that game...not Favre, not Harris, not Bush, not the run game, not the coaching.Blaming it on any one person or reason is not getting it...its completely short sighted.

It is fun to watch the Favre detrators hang on to what little they have left.
What's amazing to me is how difficult it is for a lot of Packer fans to just admit Favre's still pretty damn good and the Vikings are much better with him.
Almost as amazing as watching die hard Favre supporters still claiming Favre is night and day better then Rodgers! ;)Favre showed everyone he still had something left this year...KUDOs for that. I still maintain that the Pack made a good decision and that Rodgers is a *near equal* today at a much younger age.**We can debate who's better...but the truth is that if there IS a debate (and there is), then clearly the Pack made the right choice.

Rodgers needs only 215 yards to take the Packers single season passing record (whether he gets it in a near meaningless game for the Pack is another matter). There's no doubting Favre has played out of his skin this year, but also no doubt the Packers were right to move on.

They have a settled offense and no distractions going into the Playoffs.
