Who is more likely to have a better career at QB (1 Viewer)

Both guys appear to have an opportunity to take over at QB this year (although Mangini seems to be hanging on to Pennington at the moment). Which of these guys has the best talent, weapons, and system to be a viable fantasy option for the long haul?

I would say Edwards mostly because he's better at this stage of his career than Clemens was. In addition to taking the starting job from Losman, Edwards also had a fantastic preseason in which he took the #2 job from Craig Nall and completed more than 70% of his passes. I really like his attitude and think he has a chance to develop into a Brady/Brees type player if everything works out well for him.

Clemens is also a good long-term investment. He has a better group of WRs than Edwards and was also a highly-regarded prospect leaving college. It wouldn't surprise me to see him become a pretty good starter.

Seeing how Buffalo has been the more unsuccessful franchise, I would have to take Clemens. BUt it is too early to say whether either will make a quality pro. As of now I would take Clemens.

Clemens just from watching them both in college. That said, Clemens had much better talent around him, but I do think he also has superior talent himself.

I did not get much chance to see them in college so it would be impossible for me to judge at this point. I suppose you can give Evans an advantage because they have Evans, and he is younger than Coles, plus they have a very promising young RB which the Jets do not possess.

If Mangini stays as the Jets head coach, it's going to be Trent Edwards. What a moron, the team is 1-6 and he's still sticking with Pennington as the QB.
