Do you remove keys from your keychain when getting vehicle serviced?

I remove the keys, but mostly because I will need the other keys to get into my house or operate my other car while the one car is being serviced. And I've got an alarm and three obnoxious dogs (that would probably just lick you, but their barking would still raise a bit of a ruckus); so, good luck to any would-be robbers.

So, yes to the poll question, but overreaction to the question in the OP.

Where's the option for "I'm my own mechanic"..

On the off chance I do take one of my vehicles in, I leave all the keys on it..  Probably because my house hasn't been locked in the last 20 years, including when we are gone on vacation...

Our car keys are separate from our normal keys. Well, in fact, I don't carry my other keys. I enter the house via garage all the time- even when walking. Nothing else that I use on a daily basis or heck on a weekly or monthly basis. But I digress.... even when I had all my keys, I would take the car key off and give them just that. You don't give people keys other when you absolutely must. Plus, if you are carrying other keys- don't you need them?

Heck, I even take my garage door opener with me....house key is a no brainer.  It does feel kind of awkward when I take the house key off in front of them though.
I try to do the same with the garage door opener.  And why be awkward about giving them just the car key?  I've got other keys I need on the keychain (e.g., office key, home key).
