1. Michael Jordan (71%)
2. Lebron james (85%).

6. ????????????

Bird.

Had the greatest 3 year stretch outside of MJ from 1984-86 winning 3 straight MVPs with 2 rings and 2 Finals MVPs. Without a shooting slump in the 1985 Finals, he could have gone 3 straight.

Add in an earlier championship, ROY (over Magic) and 9 straight 1st team all-NBA selections with 3x 2nd team all-D teams, and Bird belongs as a top 6 player of all time. He did this against Magic & Kareem, Dr J, Moses and young Hakeem and MJ. He became slowed down and eventually retired a bit premature from injuries, but his prime was incredible.

He averaged 24.3/10.0/6.3 for his career and had 2 seasons in the 50/40/90 club (51/38/89 career shooting).

Russell's 11 rings will never be matched and 5 MVPs are elite, but he did so in a developing league that was still just at 14 teams when he retired. There is a reason Mikan isn't even mentioned in GOAT discussions and similar limitations apply to Russell's resume.

Peak Bird was amazing. He did incredible things.

Shaq is the closest for#6 IMO. Shaq was more dominant over his competition, but Bird was the better player by far.

This has been the toughest vote for me thus far. It's really close between Bird, Shaq, and Russell. Each have something incredible to put on the table but I give Bird the nod as we has great at everything. Russell is very hard for me to rank since I never saw him play (other than highlights) and the league was so small at the time the competition just wasn't there.
