Who is the best worst team? (1 Viewer)

There are a lot of bad teams this year. Obviously the crust on the spoiled milk is MIA & WAS, but all bad teams have talent.

So who’s the most talented of the trash? The most likely to turn it all around in 2020? And how would you do it?

Even with all their flaws, it’s gotta be Tampa Bay, right? They’ve got tons of firepower on offense, and even some pieces on defense.

i really like some of their LBs, and they can Occasionally run the ball well. I think Ronald Jones is one of the most under-utilized talents in the NFL, as he’s looked so good at times only to disappear when the game script isn’t favorable or if Ariana wants to spend the day watching Barber go 2 yards and a cloud of dust.

if I’m the Bucs I spend every single draft pick on OL & secondary help. Then look to sign free agents at DB, DL, and maybe even more OL.

Agree? Disagree?

who’s your pony for best worst team, and how do you fix them for 2020?

CIN getting a pass here?

If 1-5 makes you one of the worst teams, then I think ATL might be the best of the worst.

I think Denver is pretty good for 2-4.  Young offense just needs time to gel with a veteran Flacco holding it down for a bit.  DST is very good.

Oh, none passes given. I just think WAS & MIA are the worst two teams.

the Bengals have issues too & might be closer to “the best worst” than the “worst of the worst” though, despite being winless. the only reason one of Miami it WAS has a win is because they played each other.

Cinci has Boyd, who I really like, a very solid RB in Mixon (character issues not considered), and a lot of very talented players on defense.

but they weren’t my pony for best of the worst. I guess with the Bengals you could make a case either way, but with AJ Green coming back at some point, I’d expect they’ll be more competitive down the stretch

How would you fix them for next year?

D/ST is also adjusting to Fangio's new defensive schemes...also moving def players around to find the right positional fit.

What would you do in the off-season If you were the GM?
Not a Denver homer but the D seems to have a nice mix of youth and old to it.  I'd maybe speed up the process at O-line and WR with some free agency adds.  Sanders is always banged up and not really a nice WR3 right now. Sutton is improving nicely. Hope Lock takes the next step and Flacco can bridge them together. The DST is playoff caliber.

RE: Broncos

Definitely O-Line improvement for 2020 (has been a problem for years), which will help Lock and/or Flacco immensely.

Middle linebacker is another 2020 target.

I feel like tenn is so close as well
That’s a good suggestion -  Tannehill  might actually improve them, but I question why they refuse to use Deion Lewis. Dude has proven to be an asset - and it seems like they could use him in the passing game and as a complimentary back.

they have a very solid defense, - is it only the OL? Or has Mariota been the problem?

New qb for them

They are pretty talented otherwise

New coach too

NYG is at least exciting to watch with Jones.

NYJ could get better too.
I feel like people are missing the words in the OP.

You’re the GM of the Giants & Jets: what do you do to fix these teams you’ve nominated as the “best of the worst”?

From what I've seen & it's only because I have De. Walker, Mariota is the problem.   One minute he looks good, the next horrible.  I have no problem with a run first team but sometimes you have to pass to open up the run.   Vikes just did it.  Not sure if Tenn can.  IMO
