Who is the next fantasy quarterback like Brady?

I voted Other: Russell Wilson.
lol
He finished the season with more fantasy points then every QB listed in that poll.
I agree 100%. He may not have been drafted in the 6th like Brady but he dropped to the 3rd. This guy has everything but height. He just seems to have all the makings of a stud QB. He can make all the throws and can also run. Wilson will have a better career than RG3 and Luck. I can see Seattle getting themselves a couple rings over the next several years with that D and ground game to go with the new franchise QB. Pete is going to take the reigns off next year as well. They have some weapons in the air as well but just as Brady has proven, a great QB makes great WRs.
Sidney Rice will be in for a huge year next year IMO. Top 20 WR is definitely a legit possibility.

The options seem off to me. Big Ben will be playing in his 10th season and will be 31 next year, so he doesn't seem to fit. Schaub also will be in his 10th season and will 32 next year.

If the question is wondering who can be a top ranking fantasy QB year in and year out, why are RGIII, Cam, and Luck not options? Or are they too obvious?
To me the #1 criteria for being the "next Brady" is coming in without huge draft hype, not being handed the job right away, and then taking the league by storm when you finally get a chance. Even if those 3 guys become as good or better than Brady, they won't have much in common with what Brady did considering they were all top 2 overall picks.
The OP asked who is the next Brady from a fantasy perspective. Although Brady enjoyed great team success in his first years as the Patriots QB, he really wasn't all that great of a fantasy QB til his 7th year starting, and since then he's been just about a top 5 fantasy QB every year. So from a fantasy perspective, he didn't take the league by storm when he finally got a chance like you said, it took him 7 seasons to take the league by storm. So OP is asking, what QB is most likely to start his career as a middling fantasy QB, to all of a sudden become a fantasy stud and remain as one for multiple years afterwards.
Thanks for clearing that up, this is what I was asking and for some reason 2005 completely slipped my mind when he finished 2nd. I am looking for the guy that goes from a low end quarterback 1, to complete stud. As I said before I think it is Bradford, maybe it happens when the Jeff Fisher era ends but if he gets the weapons, look out.

Here is where I think this thread is a bit of a pointless exercise. If ANY QB gets an offense restocked with elite weapons, that QB will be at or near the top of the fantasy food chain, ESPECIALLY if the QB was a Top 10 fantasy QB with meh options to throw to.In Brady's case, in 2007, NE provided Brady with a future HOFer (Moss), another guy making a case for HOF consideration on his own (Welker), and 2 other capable receivers in Stallworth and Gaffney. Downstream, NE added another potential HOFer in Gronkowski and what would likely be another Pro Bowl caliber TE if he played on another team in Hernandez (his per game numbers expanded to a 16 game season would be 865 yards and 9 TD). Lloyd was added this year and is far from chopped liver.

Take any low end QB1 and they would vault to the top of the fantasy rankings if you gave that guy 3 future HOFers to work with and even additional help that is above average to very good in talent. Even a fantasy QB2 would likely be a perpetual Top 5 fantasy QB in that case.

For those that are going to say that Brady is the one that is making these guys productive and another QB wouldn't, there may be an element to that, but I'm pretty sure with the same talent and the same system other QBs could still do very well playing in NE. Maybe not Brady good, but still well above average.

I like Ponder for this. When AP stops being AD the Viks could quickly switch to a passing attack. Harvin is already an amazing weapon and he has Rudolph and Carlson at TE. You add one more guy, a WR or a shifty RB and start letting those TEs go out on patterns and Ponder could go off.

I honestly don't see it happening with any of those other guys.

Dalton - On the door step of elite right now.

Flacco - They will run and play defense no matter what.

Cutler - Already had his shot, never quite made it.

Freeman - They will run.

Bradford - Team's too bad.

Schaub - Team's too good / running.

Locker - Team's too bad / running.

Big Ben - Already had his shot, multiple times.

Kirk Cousins.

That has pretty much already been proven out with Cassel.
