Just out of curiosity, I want to know who all of you love and praise. Is it in relation to your fantasy league. If it is, please mention. My favorite players in the league are Roy Williams, Terrell Owens, and Kevin Jones. No, I am not a Detriot Lions fan, but I just love watching them play. Terrell I just love the smack all day everyday. Who is your favorite player and why?

I played HS football with Drew Brees and Seth McKinney, so I am partial to those guys.

Other than that, Vince of course.

Growing up a kid (and a big kid at that) in San Diego county when the Chargers were really good (Air Coryell era) I always loved Louie Kelcher. Although the Chargers were not known for their defense at that time I always liked the way the guy played. He was the reason as a freshamn in high school when they were handing out jersey numbers I wanted No. 74. Still looking to find an early 80's style Chargers jersey and get a #74 with 'Kelcher' on the back to wear to the games.

I'm a JETS fan.....but i gotta say Tiki Barber!!!

I can't believe that he is hanging them up at years end. But seeing what happened to C-Mart, may not be such a bad idea.

I am starting to like watching Winslow also.....not sure why, but the guy is athletic....if they had any better offense, he would be a monster.

Although that overall defense wasn't very good, the D-line was pretty stacked with LOO-IE, Big Hands Johnson, Fred Dean, and that other monster (can't remember his name but he was 6'8" and a lot to deal with). I always though that was a very underrated unit.

it is early....but this season colston...love the underdog....

and

manning...love the audibles, the hand gestures, ####er is good.

M. Harrison - class act

W. Parker - Little Engine That Could

C. Baily - freaky good

T. Holt - (see M. Harrison)

Housh - the "anti-Chad"

M. Strahan - just seems like a nice guy

Definitely LT, by a considerable amount.

I've had him on my keeper team since he was a rookie, and while he's obviously an unbelievable player, he also appears to be a terrific guy. A rare combination...

ETA: as a Jets fan, with Curtis gone, Jerricho Cotchery is starting to become my favorite Jet. Love what he brings to the table.

He takes off the helmet, throws it, and gets the personal foul. Meanwhile the D holds em...and they get the ball back. Without the penalty they would have had better field position.I'll take Chad anyday, he has fun. TJ just played dumb. Ocho Cinco over Housyourmama :banned:

Who's my favorite player?

Mr. Derrick Brooks

Can't believe this thread got this far without that response.

All time - Emmitt

Now - Tomlinson, Vick, Owens, Brady, Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith, LJ, I can go on for a while there's lots of current players I enjoy watching play.

Marvin Harrison-plays WR with class

Peyton Manning-Great man, great player

Tommie Harris-Class act off the field

Trent Green-homer pick, but he is the most underrated QB of the last 15 years if you ask me.

Rod Smith-maybe the best D2 WR of all-time

Issac Bruce-see Harrison

Brett Favre-see Manning

Vick (can't take your eyes off the tv)

LJ (he's won me money - and he reminds me of Jim Brown. Very physical back.)

LT (again, more money - most talented player in the league)

MJD - Watching a fire hydrant run around and smash people.

Retired

Elway

Primetime

LT

Bo Jackson

Barry Sanders

LT2 and LJ. I go to the Charger games a couple times a year. He is the most amazing player in the NFL. LJ because ive had him 2 yrs. in a row on my FF team.

Anquan Boldin, Larry Johnson, Champ Bailey.

Boldin and LJ because they are two of the toughest players at their respective positions. They both play with a chip on their shoulder.

Champ because he is so smooth in everything he does, whether it be intercepting a pass, breaking up a pass, or making an open field tackle.

Javon Walker is quickly getting up there on my list. The guy has freaskish talent but, like Champ, is so smooth and makes it look easy.

 for having the guts to add Merriman to your list after what has recently transpired. for not spelling his name right. for numbering a list that you claim is "in no particular order." for what is overall a pretty decent list of world-class football players and relatively good guys.

LT2

Chad Johnson

Merriman

P. Manning

Portis

Shockey

The guys I really miss watching, most of the Bills from the superbust years (homer), Kelly, T. Thomas, Reed, Bruce Smith

And the one guy I wish i got to see a lot more of, the one and ONLY greatest back to play football, Mr. Barry Sanders.

4. Tiki Barber

5. Peyton Manning

6. Warrick Dunn

QB: McNabb- the most exciting QB

RB: LJ- man among boys

RB: Kevin Jones- rare burst of speed, strength, and attitude.

WR: Roy Williams- If all the WRs in the league were put into a pool and redrafted, Roy Williams is the first WR taken.

WR: Marvin Harrison- total class act who catches everything

Defense: Ed Reed, Champ Bailey, and Julius Peppers. - 3 playmakers.

Clinton Portis

Plays extremely hard.

Blocks like his life depends on it.

Liked by teammates.

Liked by coaches.

Plays extremely hard.

Ladanian Tomlinson by a landslide....best player in the league hands down....a difference maker...one of the few players that can take over a game and win it...

LaDanian Tomlinson because he wins me so many FF game :D

Peyton Manning because he is just so much fun to watch. Watching him call out audibles, the way he just moves his team down the field almost at will, is just blows my mind.

1) Peyton Manning - IMO, the best player of his generation. I hope he wins a Super Bowl to qiuet all those ridiculus doubters

2) Michael Vick- A truly unique player. Theres never been another QB like him.

3) Chris Chambers - the most athletic WR this side of Randy Moss circe 1999

4) Brian Dawkins - Love watching lay vicious hits on ball-carriers and receivers
