For me it is Rodney Harrison. The guy is a heck of a player and I love hitters but the dude is constantly taking unnecessary cheap shots. :)

true, but the thing I will always remember most about Mr.Harrison is when He ran backwards for 20 yardsafter picking off Big Ben. Yes, Mr.Harrison is my favorite player. Oh I'm sorry you said least. :fishing:

Dude, don't worry - he gets fairly punished by the refs if not overly-punished. To give a very up-to-date example, that hit that was called for unnecessary roughness earlier in the game was totally debatable. What I am saying is simple, he may be attempting ways to overcome deficiencies set by his age, but he is almost always called upon. He is a game changer on a good team, so it is easy to identify him. He is a focused guy and I do not really think he is trying to take cheap shots though I accept more likely than not the outcome may prove to be otherwise.

it's called getting into another players head. He's the best at it, thats why He's my favorite player.Thats why next week you'll see Manning looking like this  .

Past player for me is Rich Gannon. Hate em with a passion. I don't think the guy ever made a mistake, of course it was always someone esle, either the refs or his teammates.

Gb, I understand your perspective and won't attempt to defend the most penalized player in NFL history. I am definitely conflicted about the guy as a Pats homer. It occurs to me that if Rodney didn't play professional football, he might be incarcerated and is quite possibly a sociopath. What's strange is that he is apparently very religious based on some historical interviews I've heard.I would ask you, though, how do you feel about Harrison relative to say, Haynesworth cleating a player's face, Ray Lewis witnessing a murder and then ratting out his "friends" to avoid prosecution, Pacman Jones for being trapped "in da hood" or Roy Williams for continuing to use technique that is inherently likely to cause injury?

All these posts and no mention of people that covered up murders or committed manslaughter? :yucky:

Among people who don't belong in jail for a long time, Owens is a no-brainer. Actually he's a no-brainer in many respects.

Hon mention to anyone who does the gay end zone dances or taunts or similar I'm-a-no-class-circus-clown-and-proud-of-it BS

I have no problem with intimidation and hard hits but the dude is constantly hiiting guys late when it is unnecessary. I agree the one play he did get called for unecessary roughness last night was debatable but there were some others last night where I thought he should have been flagged and wasn't. I just don't like the guy.

I was talking more about player's and their on the field demeanor rather than the off-the-field stuff. I have nothing against Harrison personally but I don't like watching him play because he goes overboard IMO.Obviously players doing criminal behavior are more reprehensible and Haynesworth cleating a guys face is probably worse than anything Harrison ever did but game=in, game-out I just can't stand watching Harrison.

None other than David Carr. Thankfully he has finally been exposed as the biggest farce the QB position has ever known. It's just sad that NFL personnel departments are so clueless that it took this many years to figure it out and cost Andre Johnson years of productivity. Imagine the numbers AJ would have if he had an NFL QB his 1st 5 years.

Not only did Leonard Little get a DUI but he got another one after killing someone to me its a disgrace that people dont try and get the NFL to force him out like they did Vick for killing dogs.

I only like a few guys, and the rest I don't care about. They're employees in an entertainment venture I enjoy. But Harrison isn't a guy I like because he plays with a style that can end careers. Most of those guys are like a big fraternity, trying to get through the physical demands of the game and come out okay. You can play hard but honest. I think Harrison uses his emotion to play better, but that comes at a cost to the other players.I'm also not a big Randy Moss fan, because it's clear he didn't even try in Oakland. I mean, you get paid that much and you take no pride in your job, or your name? At least Daunte Culpepper tried. He just wasn't good enough to play at a high level. Moss is.I like guys who play hard and don't demand attention, like Wes Welker and Lorenzo Neal. And a guy like Warrick Dunn isn't the best-paid player in the NFL, but he gives a lot back to charity and has lasted a pretty long time for a guy who's "too small."

Wow... I had no idea that Harrison was this despised. Since he left the Chargers I have barely even thought about him that much.

Surprised Joey Porter hasn't made the list.
He didn't make the news or the highlight reel once this year, probably why he's dropping in this list. A few players I really dislike:Roy Williams: I hope the next horse collar costs him at least a yearTJ Houshmazilly: talented dude but a total crybabyRodney Harrison: For reasons mentionedRay Lewis: Pious piece of crapDennis Northcutt: As mentioned in the game thread, his entire career is defined by big drops. He's soft, afraid to get hit, and he sucks. And he ran his mouth nonstop when he was with CLEV, not sure if he still does that in JAX. Joe Nedney: for taking that dive in the '02 playoffs :banned: :banned: He did blow out his ACL the next two consecutive years though

Fair enough. He's definitely a nasty player. Not to antagonize you but in the games I've watched James Harrison appears to be cut from the same cloth.
