I'm a little nervous for LJ this year with the loss of another HoF lineman, his workload last year, and the QB situation (although it's not much different than last year). I still think you have to take him at #3 though, I've kicked myself before on letting speculation outweigh past performance and I think this is a similar situation. Especially in the 1st round, I think you need to get a solid, proven player.

Reminds me of how people questioned LT last year with the new QB and how he was hurt the year before. Seemed to work out well for him.

trade down :lmao:
some sites don't let u trade pre-draft :X
For the sites/groups that will let you. . .currently I would trade out of the #2-#5 spot. . .providing I wasnt giving up too much. . .but I just dont see anything outside of LT that is exciting. . .SJax, Gore, LJ. . . .SA, Portis, Bush. . . .all have questions that could place them in the top 3 or out of the top 5 or 6. . . .tough calls this year. :lmao:

What about Addai? He certainly won't be there when you pick again, so why not take him at #3 if you don't like Johnson or Gore? If most think he "should" go at #8, 9 or whatever, you either take him at 3 or you miss out.

I don't really care about getting pre-draft "value" just so I can look at my roster and feel good before week 1. I want the guys who will be difference-makers. So if I'm worried about Johnson or Gore, I'd say Addai has to be a contender for that spot, even if it's considered "too early" by the rest of the league.

That being said, I'd probably take LJ at #3 because he's shown he can carry a heavy load and still perform. He won't lose a league for you. For this year, I think he's still good to go.

You're kidding? If you want to get technical, you can come up with questions about every single player. That is overthinking.

In 2 straight drafts.. The #3 guy didn't like LJ or Gore.. they Took Manning.. which isn't a bad choice in 6 pt TD leagues.

would take Westbrook over all those options . . .
Even in non-PPR???
Not a chance in Non-PPR.....Westy is lucky to be a 1st round pick in a non-PPR. In PPR he would be my choice as the No.3 selection. I really don't like LJ's situation this year. The heavy workload from 2006 is playing on my mind and most likely he will be forced to carry the rock 400 + times in 2007 IF he holds up.....that's a big if for mine. questionable QB's, no WR's, o-line in decline just make this too dicey so I'd grab Gore at the No.3 slot.
