Who Took Both Harrison and Wayne? (1 Viewer)

the hairy scotsman

I crave consistency, so I figgered what better way to ensure that than to take the 1a &1a WRs in the league's best passing offense.

1.04: Gore

2.07: Harrison

3.04: Wayne

Anyone else?

I considered it, but didn't dare as I have Manning as my QB. As the saying goes, too many eggs in one basket.

Took Harrison and then Houshemn???? instead of Wayne. I might regret it though!

Own them in separate leagues, was fairly happy with Peyton's distribution between them. (could've used another Harrison TD though...)

Gordo, nice avatar.

Who is that? Sandra Pires?

That strategy is a little risky, so i went...1.04 Gore2.07 C. Benson3.04 Then Wayne --- followed by Plaxico and Calvin Johnson as its a waste if you dont take at least two v. good WRs

1.12 Harrison

2.01 Wayne

in an antsports league (third year 12-team keeper league with PPR)

No WR had been taken but I thought that I wanted to sleep easy every night until the bye week (6?) and perhaps week 16.

I went Manning, S. Smith, R. Wayne. I was thinking of all three but didn't want to rely that much on the Colts.

Anybody who took Wayne and Harrison is an idiot. Week one is not indicative of the course of the season. And this is coming from a Manning AND Wayne owner.
I disagree, depending upon the scoring format. In a heavy PPR leagues (1 PPR) I can see the logic in taking both in rounds 2 and round 3 provided you take RB in round 1. I've done it before and one several comeptitve lagues going RB/WR/WR/RB. Both of these guys are some of the most consistent performers around. Both will likely finish in the Top 5. Explain.

:DWhile they both won't score TD's every week of course the first week is indicitive. They both were top 10 WR's last year and appear to be top 10 WR's again this year. Last night helped confirmed that. Who doesn't want 2 top 10 WR's on their teams? :penalty:

in ppr I think they are both worth at least 10 every week. How is that bad?

I forgot when the season started, the true idiots come out of the woodwork. You sir, have no idea what you're talking about. If Wayne/Harrison were the best values and the best picks at those spots, of course you take them.

in a 12 team league .5pts per reception 1pt every 20 yds...5 pt bonus at 100 yds.....

#2 Stephen Jackson

#23 Harrision

#26 Wayne

#47 Javon Walker

#50 Jamal Lewis

I am liking the Colts WR's......is it assanin to own both?

i got them both in an auction league. i was trying to bid up marvin so someone else would use more of their points to bid with, and i ended up being the highest bidder. at first i wasn't super excited and some of my buddies called me out, but the more i am thinking about it the better i feel. i think peyton likes to distribute the rock about evenly between the two to keep them both happy. more performances like last night and i will be VERY happy re: "My Mistake".

oh yeah.
