He has talent, but so far has an injury-riddled career.I say Grant becasue he is the only guy on that list that I picked up. Plus I never heard of that Player you listed called Other. Is he any good?
Don't think he's a RB.Derek Anderson?
Chester Taylor was the starting RB for the Vikings for several games. I don't get how he would be a waiver wire pickup.Chester Taylor
Taylor was available in many leagues at the time of Peterson's injury. Unless Peterson makes a miraculous recovery, Taylor could easily be the correct answer to this poll question.Chester Taylor was the starting RB for the Vikings for several games. Miraculous? He's going to be back in 2-3 weeks... I guess I don't really see Taylor as a waiver wire pickup as the only people who would drop him would be in small leagues (8 teams or fewer). Even in leagues like that, I'm sure many people held onto him. In my opinion he should be excluded since he was the projected starter for this year and was drafted in nearly every league. Selvin Young fits this better as he wasn't even the backup until a few weeks before the start of the season. I believe Earnest Graham to be the best option on the list as he was the 3rd string RB who ended up in the starting role rather early in the season and has performed very well. He will most likely hold onto the starting position until the end of the season. That is a gem....not a RB who was supposed to be the starter and is now a spot starter in case of injury.Taylor was available in many leagues at the time of Peterson's injury. You and Brad Childress are both hoping for the best-case scenario for Peterson apparently, but when/if he returns from his torn LCL remains to be seen. Because the Vikings want to sell tickets the rest of the season it is in their best interests to promise that Peterson will return, but there are certainly no guarantees about anything. Regardless Taylor is a solid play for the foreseeable future. I like Graham but now that Pittman is back and Bennett is on board it is hard to see him being a fantasy dynamo. Grant would be my second choice behind Taylor. I'd rank Grant #1 if he didn't have a couple of really ugly turnovers already.Miraculous? He's going to be back in 2-3 weeks... Since most waiver wires go worst to first, I'm thinking not many will agree with this sentiment!always nice to have a couple guys on a list like this![]()
As a Peterson owner who picked up Taylor last week, I disagree. I'd rather have CT than Graham. If I didn't have Peterson, and needed a RB to start throughout the playoffs, I would agree.Miraculous? And what happens if you secured these players through an open ww system or via trade? Would that still indicate what you intimate?Since most waiver wires go worst to first, I'm thinking not many will agree with this sentiment!always nice to have a couple guys on a list like this![]()

Many of these players get snagged by the sharks™ well before they bust out. Drafted Selvin as a handcuff for Henry. Picked up Grant when he was trade from the Giants. Grant has had two peewee football turnovers along with his good play. That isn't a problem yet, but with Jackson and Morency healthy behind him another key turnover or two could cost him his position. It isn't like this guy is a 7-year Pro Bowler.ChuckLiddell said:Am I missing something here?Cheesedawg said:You and Brad Childress are both hoping for the best-case scenario for Taylor apparently, but when/if he returns from his torn LCL remains to be seen.
