Who would you trade... (1 Viewer)

I was unable to handcuff LT, Turner went 1 FREAKING SPOT before I was primed to take him :excited:

So I would like to trade for him, and I can offer either

Norwood

or

Tatum Bell

Which one of these backs would you offer for Turner, regardless of wether you think the trade would be accepted or not?

TIA

Neither unless you are just loaded at RB and have too many bench spots that they have no value to you.

Why worry about LT?

I haveLTAhmanTatumNorwoodIt is not as much a handcuff but a potential blow to this guy's team if LT went down. The guy is stacked and if LT went down, he would be tough to beat.On the flip side could giving him Tatum or Norwood also hurt me if LT did NOT get injured :football:

Clearly, it could. A guy like Tatum Bell is a giant question this year. The Martz offense has put up record breaking performances from RB's in the past (Marshall Faulk, Priest Holmes). I am not suggesting that Bell is either of those two guys, but frankly, until that offense was put into place Priest Holmes was not Priest Holmes. And if/when KJ comes back, who knows what happens to TB. I would certainly not risk it for Turner, though who is a guy you hope you never play.Norwood is obviously a slightly different story, but has a lot of upside in any event. The fact is, the guy more than likely drafted Turner as trade bait. Do you want to fall for that bait?

Excellent point

Why is this point relevant, except at a purely emotional level? Either you do this to help your team or not. The other guy's plan or intent is beside the point.

How many RB's can you start? If only two then I would say Tatum for Turner is ok, but not Norwood.

The peace of mind that comes with cuffing the #1 FF player is worth a good bit IMHO.

I'm actually in a similiar situation: The guy that has Turner is really hurting at RB (he's got T. Henry, Lynch, Chris Henry, and Turner) and was eyeballing Julius Jones on my roster. I have LT, AD, Chester, and JJ. I would be giving up my bye week replacement to cuff LT. Obviously I would want Turner+Extra for JJ, but he's got NOTHING on his bench even worthwhile. I'm pretty sure his starters are off limits so I'm at a loss on how I would go about this. Obviously I don't want to overpay for peace of mind, but if LT does go down I'll definately be overpaying to get Turner...
