This poll is not for the avid fan, but for the rest of us that are left without a team in the playoffs.Tell who you usually cheer for, and who you will cheer for the Super Bowl.I am a Pats fan, but live in PA. Wish the Steelers the best of luck (being an AFC team and all - :D )

Giants fan here. Since I live in NC I will be rooting for the Panthers even though they knocked the Giants out.

Obvious CHiefs homer, so I'm definitely not a Donkey fan. I am going with PITT since Cowher was here 89-92 as DC....PITT took him from KC.My allegiance is to Pittsburgh for 2 weeks.

Born in the pacific NW but grew up near DC. Even though Seattle beat the 'Skins I have to root for them to win it all.

Seattle. They have never won the big game, and they have my boy D-Jax, he coached me at Basketball camp when I was younger.

I have Seattle rated as the #1 team from the regular season, so I want to be right of course. Also, it's nice when a team who hasn't won before wins it all. So I'm basically rooting for the NFC either way.

Charger fan here rooting for the Steelers and the Panthers to get to the Super Bowl. Any team that knocks a Manning out of the playoffs is ok in my book.

Cowboys and Browns fan. I'd like to see Denver with Plummer at qb go all the way. I drafted him in a dynasty league as a rookie and had him until this season when I traded him. He has been bashed by everyone through the years, and winning a Super Bowl would be

Friendly Page 2 Bump... :D All aboard...who will you cheer for (temporarily) Steelers [ 25 ] [35.71%] Broncos [ 5 ] [7.14%] Panthers [ 21 ] [30.00%] Seahawks [ 18 ] [25.71%] Total Votes: 69

Out of curiousity...to fans whose teams have been eliminated, do you usually root FOR the team that eliminated you ("well, at least we were eliminated by the best..."), AGAINST the team that eliminated you ("those dirty rats! Let them get their comeuppance!"), or do you root for reasons that have nothing to do with who eliminated you?

I tend to root for the AFC in the Super Bowl...hoping it is the strongest team to beat the NFC.

I'd like to see Cowher win it, but I don't really care.
Now that I think about it, Lynch plays for the Broncos, and it would be nice to see him win one more ring. May even get him into the HOF discussion one day.So basically, either AFC team would be cool.

Tell who you usually cheer for, and who you will cheer for the Super Bowl.

Born in Dallas, TX. in 1971, been a fan for over 30 years. Living in Oregon now and pulling for the NFC, voted for Carolina though. If the Seahawks pull it off that is fine with me as well, just voted for the underdog as I like their coach and some of the players. Also; I do not want the Steelers to win their 5th overall superbowl and tie with the Cowboys, so looks like I am pulling for the Broncos in the AFC championship. ~OMM~

Ah, but here's a dilemma for you... if Denver makes the Superbowl, they tie the Cowboys for the most SB appearances in franchise history.

I'm not really rooting for any of these bastards, but in all honesty I'd hate for the Steelers fans that I know to brag about another SB ring.. so I'll also toss my hat in "anybody but the stillers" bandwagon.

For the AFC I am rooting for Denver. I lived near Denver for a year. They owned Seattle when Elway was playing, and a old AFC West matchup would be cool.

As a Colts fan, I am rooting for Bettis to get a Superbowl ring. He is a class act all the way.Go Stillers

Jake Plummer = Pac10

Go Broncos!
I'm jumping all over the Steelers bandwagon. Was born in Ohio and rooted for the Browns. Had an uncle and some other relatives that were Steelers fans. Due to the rivalry between the browns, I feel it is my duty to root for the Steelers out of respect for such an honorable rival. And I think Cowher is a great coach. Go STEELERS! :football:

Panthers homer here. If we don't beat Seattle, I will pull for Pittsburgh. I like Jerome Bettis and would like to see him go out with a SB win. I like Ben Rothlessburger too. Troy Kamamalalala is a class act as well.Don't dislike any of the teams left though.

Go SteelersThey are a team of destinyPlus I have nothing but respect for Steelers fans. Wherever you go in this country you see Steeler fans. They sure do travel well. Mobs of Steeler fans in every stadium the Steelers play. I live in New York City and there are honestly Steeler bars in the city. Honestly, you go in there on Sundays and these places are just filled with black and gold. Very impressive

As a true Browns fan, it is impossible to root for either of the teams in the AFC, so I'll be pulling for whoever comes out of the NFC title game this weekend...probably the Panthers.

Generally a Lions fan, but that's meaningless here.Grew up near Detroit, Michigan fan, so I have mixed feelings on the Bus, but respect the man.One of my, if not my favorite player in the NFL is Randle El. I am a fan of the MAC. (EMU Grad)Yep, :towelwave:
