Why are people drafting McNabb Early in Survivors? (1 Viewer)

He misses games seemingly every year.

I don't mind people drafting him, I just don't get the third/fourth round action.

1) Top ranked QB on a ppg basis last year. Basically getting Manning production 2 rounds later.

2) You concerns mirror the thoughts about Vick and Bulger from last year, both finished in the top five last year.

3) McNabbs injuries appear to be related to bad luck moreso than playing style or o-line concerns.

4) Westy in the backfield.

5) Not from the PAC-10.

You won't see him last past early 4th and in most cases before that. Perhaps in a 12 team league he might make 5th. But if you want a top 5 QB you'll have to get one early or else be left with higher performance risk later on.Speaking of risk. I made the point earlier that in order to win a survivor league, you will have to take some caluculated risks in order to have a shot at winning. McNabb is one of those for me. Jordan being the other. The rest of my draft will be centered around solid players with less risk issues.
