I for one am quite content with this particular actress sticking with the roles of females who identify as females.

I don't remember this kind of hoopla when The Crying Game came out.

Three notes:  1) the marketable “stars” of that film were not the trans character. 2) very low budget art house movie. 3) asston of hoopla around that movie  

i don't know if any of those points are relevant.  Just thought I would point that out
