Why is Devery Henderson so undervalued? (1 Viewer)

I've seen Devery Henderson going 4th among the New Orlean's Wide Receivers and probably around WR#80, yet on the Footballguys Depth Charts, he is (1) The #2 WR, and (2) Blue (not green).

I haven't watched NO play too much in the preseason, but am I missing something? Is he having a bad camp?

He doesn't score touchdowns and doesn't catch many passes.

He had a hernia surgery on May 6th, so that may be causing some concern.

He's great for depth @ WR in survivor leagues, but I wouldn't want to count on him for weekly production.

not consistent enough. Like Dillo said, he is a best ball player. Not a re-draft or even dynasty player

Last year Henderson was streaky at best on best passing offense in the NFL. This year Lance Moore is healthy. Both he and Meachem stretch the field well for the underneath stuff to Colston, Shockey, Bush and PT. However, Meachem has been nursing a toe he had surgery on in the off season. If he misses time to injury Henderson can have some pretty big games.
