Why is Koren Robinson still in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

He has served his time and taken his punishment. He has kept his nose clean and life is about second chances. He has helped more in the return game this year but still is a threat at WR.Leonard Little did a hell of a lot worse and is still in the NFL.

ESPN did not give them this name! It was something the group of WR came up with some time before the Cowboy game.

Doesn't matter where the name came from...ESPN is now calling them this on national television. What is so "Fab"ulous about Koren Robinson that merits him being included in this group? They probably have guys on the practice squad with better hands than Robinson. Dude is a straight up punk who can't even hang onto a ball. If you're a WR in the NFL and drop the ball as much as he does, you shouldn't have a job, not to mention his off the field conduct.

The original post calling Koren Robinson one of the great Packer WRs was so ridiculous that I figured the roflmfao smilies were overkill.Koren Robinson has played in 13 games for the Green Bay Packers, and has compiled 28 receptions for 330 yards and one touchdown.

The Facts are Koren Robinson doesn't deserve anything good that comes his way after all the misery he's caused in the NFL. Now he is all hyped up that he's part of some so-called "Fab 5." Robinson is anything but fabulous as a football player or even a person.Exactly why let facts get in the way here.

Well is is obviuos that you are not well informed as they have been called this for about 2 months since ESPN got hold of it. Koren Robinson has been a solid player this year for the Packers and become a threat for them. His main job this year has been on kick off return where the Packers have been getting killed in the last couple of years. Now he is getting more play in 3 WR sets as the season progressed. Koren has penchant for dropping balls int the past but this year it has not been an issue.What has he done off the field since he signed with the Packers?? Are just a upset Choke Vike fan or what??
What a ridiculous post. Koren Robinson has gone to a pro-bowl as a kick returner, caught over 1000 yds in a season and is still young. He is definitely talented and if he can stay out of trouble will contribute a lot to some NFL team. The guy is still young. His mistakes have been atoned for and keep in mind the nature of his violations. He has a drinking problem not a punching women problem or a selling drugs problem like some other members of the NFL.The clown that I most definitely don't give two cents about is you Dman30.

But if they do call them the fab 5...so what? They took the name from the Michigan basketball team with Weber, Rose and such. Pretty simple way to phrase it when you are thinking of 5 guys...it flows kind of nicely.

That's not true and you know it. KRob is certainly a disappointment and probably a (significantly) below average receiver now. But he's done some things in the NFL.Now, if you want to hate on KRob the person, sure he was a drunk and had his issues. But I have no idea why you would call him out over every other wasteoid in the NFL.

In comparison Martin played in 15...The point in the "fab 5" thing is that the Packers have 5 recievers that Favre is comfortable throwing it to at any time... Not only that, but they also have 2 TEs (Donald Lee & Bubba Franks) and 3 RBs (Vernand Morency, Ryan Grant, & Brandon Jackson) who have notable recieving stats...plus Wynn, Korey Hall, Ryan Krause, John Kuhn, and Shaun Bodiford have cought balls (and I honestly don't recognize those names except, I think, Hall who is the FB)...GB has 10 players with more than 10 catches (plus 1 more with 9 and another with 8)... They have 6 players with more than 30 catches.... they have 6 players with more than 2 TD catches... The whole point of any "Fab Five" thing that is said is not that any of them are the greatest players ever, but that we have 5 WRs who could start on many NFL teams...

Yes he was criticized when he screwed up on vicodin and wants to help another athlete quit. Why is anyone against this. It's really stupid.So far the guy is doing well as a kick returner and PT WR.

for pleading guilty to a felony, he got off pretty light, alot lighter than all of us would have, thats all I was saying. If you want to downplay what he did fine, hopefully he doesn't do it again and pull a Leonard on someone like he easily could have. Yea he screwed my team over and I don't like him, he plays for your team and you defend him, we get it....

Where am I downplaying what he did?I don't think he got off that much more lightly than anyone else would have. As I said I know a guy who did as much, if not worse and got off just about the same and did not have to then take a year off of work because of it.I did not want him on the team in the first place.I defend what he has done since coming to GB.And I defend what he did when people make baseless statements like if he were like any of us that he would have been much much worse off.
