Why the love for Adrian Wilson (1 Viewer)

It's not like he's coming off of an injury this season, he was healthy for 2008.

Make no mistake, Wilson has the sick ability to produce as well as a LB, but he's a bit older these days and he just doesn't seem nearly as effective, all-around, as he did in 2005(ish)

What am I missing here, that he is suddenly ranked #1 overall?

well he suffered a significant injury a few years ago that he should be completely healthy and removed from now. he put up 'good' numbers last year playing with soreness in the achilles still and missing time with a hammy injury. if he just plays in the game he missed last year he would have been near top 10 for DB's. i don't know about him being #1 but he should definetly be one of the top 5DB's taken in redraft

To be fair, it's only been two bad seasons. 3 years sounds worse than it really is.

The improvement of the Cardinals defense alone keeps Wilson out of the top 5...his recent age and injuries probably land him just outside the top 10...In tackle heavy leagues he may even be outside the top 15.

With that said I'd still start him in just about any league I'm in.
