Will AP now get all the goaline carries? (1 Viewer)

How is this significant? Gerhart has been used at the goaline from time to time. If AP gets all the goaline carries it could really be a huge plus during the FF playoffs. From Rotoworld:

"Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said Adrian Peterson (ankle) came out of Sunday's game just fine.

He looked fine on the statsheet, as well, with over 100 yards and three scores. The ankle injury was a worry all of last week, but it appears it's something that's now in the rear view mirror. Frazier also revealed that backup Toby Gerhart suffered a strained hamstring in the game, but he expects him to be fine. Lorenzo Booker has been brought in for depth purposes."

Yes Frazier did state that he expects Gerhart to be fine but a RB with a strained hammy will definitely be limited hence the Booker signing.

Peterson has 15 carries from inside the five this year, compared to Gerhart's 2. One of those two came when Peterson was hurt, so Gerhart has gotten one goaline look this season that could have otherwise been Peterson's.

So yeah, it doesn't look like this will really help Peterson's goaline opportunities much.

To be fair to the OP though, the numbers are quite a bit less stacked (7 vs 5) on carries between the 6 and 10 yard line, so that could help Peterson a little. Two of those Gerhart carries came when Peterson was hurt, and interestingly enough on those 12 carries from between the 6 and 10 yard line, neither back has scored.
