Will Chilly really bench Favre? (1 Viewer)

There are rumors that Chilly is leaning towards starting Jackson this week even though Favre says he can play. Anyone think he will really do this? Love him or hate him, would you take away his record if he is ready to go? Chilly is the guy who sent players down to Miss. to get Favre back, I think he needs to either live or die with Favre. Favre already saved his job once.

Also, would you risk starting Favre this week? I'm in a start 2QB league and between bye weeks and injuries, I'm having to decide between Favre and T. Smith for my 2nd starter. To me this seems like a no brainer with Favre playing against a weak NE secondary, but I'm concerned because it's a 3pm game and just don't know

what Chilly is thinking. Anyone else going with Favre this weekend? If so, do you have any other options?

I don't think he has the authority to bench Favre. I think that's clear to Childress and Favre and the front office.

It is not benching. Farve has two fractures in his ankle and has been a shell of the QB he was last season. Jackson will start because Farve is hurt and Jackson gives them the better chance to win.

I would tend to agree, but with Chilly you never know. He's just an odd, odd fellow.
